You forgot some things. Most players get specially made and particularly balanced blades with extremely good veneers. They also mostly play 90 - 97 g blades. And also special rubbers that other sponges have. And much harder. Most of them don't play standard stuff from the shop. And Waldner certainly doesn't play Senso Carbon. The handles, yes. THE only thing you can rely on is Butterfly. There are also special mades. But professional players can actually only play according to weight selections. Because the quality is very high. Even there, there are sometimes other sponges.... Example MX-P pro version for professional players, have a completely different sponge than the one in the shop. I had it here at home myself. And much harder. I had it at home myself!

Wow, what an insightful comment! 🌟 One thing that's rather disappointing is that some elite players receive specially made kits, while regular players can't access them. Don't you think equipment should be more standardized in table tennis to promote fair play and ensure access for everyone, rather than just having custom-made gear? 🎾 I'm aware of cheating tactics like speed glues, etc. I believe the sport will evolve like others have, especially since table tennis is a relatively young addition to the Olympic scene, having been introduced as an Olympic sport in 1988! 🏓 Thanks again for your constructive and insightful comment! 💡

@@tabletennisbuddy It's all ok. There are certainly some who play with standard material. At Butterfly this is possible due to its high quality. But selections are everywhere. The topic of tuning is a completely different topic. There is factory tuning or players who tune themselves. But many don't have that either. Because it's simply no longer necessary.

there was a video of Waldner playing with a shoe and I guess since he is not competing professionally, any answer could be the right answer :-)

Butterfly's website mentions that Chen I-Ching uses the Custom Super ZL Carbon blade 🏓. However, another source states she uses the Butterfly Arylate-Carbon blade 🏓. My initial source had different information. Thanks for your comment! Comments like yours help players better understand and research the equipment used by pros. 😊

@@tabletennisbuddy he used to use Dignics 05 on backhand, so that information is out of date. He recently switched to 09c, as he stated in that video with TableTennisDaily
