Choreography but without the story telling that we're used to seeing from her past performances. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, and this is mine, backed up by people who don't drink the kool aid. I'm very happy that her career ended this way, she deserved no better. I suspect that Michelle Kwan had absolutely no intention of ever "competing" in Torino, and yet took away another skater's dream for reasons that had nothing whatsoever to do with the sport. That injury is known to take a long time to heal, and she knew that. No, this was all about me me me Michelle Kwan. And to accept kudos for 'giving up her spot'? Despicable. She owed (owes) the US and Emily Hughes an apology but that isn't the way she rolls. You may or may not have noticed that Michelle Kwan supported that nasty ugly decision to let Ashley Wagner take Mirai Nagasu's well earned as in **earned** spot on the Sochi team. And she was the only one who spoke out, go figure. And now she's busy supporting another of her own kind, corrupt to the core.
She should have retired in 2004 on top instead of making an ass of herself in 2005 and 2006. I hear she was even thinking about coming back in 2010 for Vancouver. Can you imagine this crap against Yuna Kim's level of skill. How arrogant and desperate for a gold medal must she have been to even contemplate that.
Every Olympian wants to earn a gold medal, but even Kwan said “Will I let lack of gold ruin my life? No I will pursue success in other careers,” and went on to evoke an abassador for the U.S. (When was the last time you were an Olympian or ambassador?). Crickets chirping .

She went to further line her pockets and suck up attention, air time, and she couldn't just leave. Oh no, she had to have a press conference where she was all dressed in black and sniveling. A pity party, one of many for Michelle "it's not about the Gold, yeah right" Kwan. She actually said that before her plane left LA the thought of medals never crossed her mind. Interesting in that the goal is to win medals in the Olympics. And we have two (more) Gold medals thanks to the Olympic level courage and spirit of two awesome skaters who left Kwan in the dust. Kwan was gifted the Bronze in 2002, that should have been Sasha's. But actually, throwing her that bone and seeing her grinless face on the podium makes it almost worth it. Almost.
Do you feel the same about Nancy Kerrigan, who "took" Kwan's spot at the '94 Olympics?
This has to be her WORST long program, ever. Such a disgrace to compare it with Lyra Angelica or Taj Mahal
95 worlds long program
So what ? The new COP....waiting for you.
Bad music. It makes the skater rush.
So many years, you changed your name again and again to slander Michelle.
Shame on you. 😜
3:09 This (real) shallow and wobbly "spiral" forced up "to rack points" put all Sasha-haters to shame.
Sasha fell everywhere on the ice....that's totally deserved to shame. Spiral...Sasha fell, spin....Sasha fell, jumps....Sasha fell, skating....Sasha fell. OMG! LOL.
Crickets chirping
.
P.S. after the2002 Olympics Michelle asked “Now what do I do with my life?” She kept skating because she didn’t have an answer..... not until 2006 when the president offered her s job as an abassador. THAT was when she discovered a new career that she would enjoy. Finding a new path in life is not always easy
.
Michelle kwan is Yuna's idol. Yuna inspired by Michelle. So lovely.
@@electrictroy2010 So many years, you changed your name again and again to slander Michelle. 🤪 Shame on you. 🤪
She was injured and needed rest. Kwan circa 2004 (even half healthy) would have mopped the floor with the entire field at the 2006 Olympics. MK never had real plans to come back in 2010. But you know who did try? Sasha!
