Spawning grounds and mystery weapon rotation is a match made in the deepest abyss of hell
I have not had so much trouble with salmon run ever
Spawning Grounds my least favourite stage in 3 so far and even in 2 I didn't like it much. They introduced new Salmonid bosses that take up huge areas on the map and make no changes to a map they've ported over that wasn't designed for those bosses. High tide can get so chaotic at higher difficulties that it becomes impossible to move without tripping over a Boss Salmonid. :/
Reminds me of something that happened to me earlier today. Had a wave with someone using the Grizzco Stringer, me using a Squiffer, and the other 2 teammates using E-Litres. Somehow won that wave too, though I don't remember if it was high tide or not. Still a pretty big dub imo.

I had a round that had all 3 night waves, 1&3 were grillers, 2 was the mouth thingys and, we had 3 GRIZZCO BOWS and 1 reg bow

Grizco stringer is definitely one of the better grizco weapons, slosher still my favourite and brella the worst, but striger is definitely up there

I got a round of 4 Grizzco Stringers the other day, we slayed but then lost instantly the next wave

Let's hear funny salmon run stories:
1. I wss the only one alive and I jumped to the water to run away from the steel eel but I threw the wave breaker and save my team
2. Everyone on my team had heavy weapons ina glowfly thing-y snd died like in 5 seconds
3. All my teammates got the grizzco stringer against the king salmonid but I got the normal tri-stringer (and someone disconnected)

I was in a shift where someone dced first wave and then the rest of us got grizzco stringer next wave.. we lost tho LOL
I had the same thing happen to me, just with fog instead of high tide
My very first wave this rotation was 3 Grizzco stringers

i had two griz stringer ad two dynamo. and had all three waves grizs stringer
High Tide Spawning Grounds is seriously becoming my most disliked part of playing Splatoon 3. It really is THAT bad of a map, especially when all the lessers/bosses start spawning in the section that consists of only grates above HT water. 😩
Same, I'm not sure if it's because the other 2 maps feel better but I really dislike Spawning Grounds in this game. Which is weird because I didn't mind it at all in Splatoon 2 and it hasn't changed between the two games.
@@bluekirby_64 That's the problem, the map hasn't changed but everything else in Salmon Run has! Between the new bosses that take up huge areas and the King Salmonid, there's little space to manoeuvre around compared to the other two maps. Out of all of Splatoon 2's Salmon Run maps though Spawning Ground was the better choice to port over purely for the King Salmonid to move around on but I do wish they'd tweaked the level design to give us more ground to walk on, especially on high tide.
