This is the first 50 hour Mini Excavator Maintenance on the Yanmar VIO12 mini excavator.
I will do all the maintenance myself in the future, but the first had to be done by the dealer for the guaranee to be valid.

When you talk about the outer collar, are you perhaps referring to the slewing ring bearing? The big bearing that allows the excavator to turn 360 degrees. There is one important note that needs to be mentioned regarding the greasing of that bearing and it is the importance of not putting to much grease at one spot. The manual often say one pumping per 90 degrees. If this is not respected, the bearing seal will be pushed out and the service life of the bearing significantly shortened. Yea, that's the name of that and yes it's very important not to use to much grease. I do as you said. I grease then turn 90 degrees and repeat the whole way around. Have a great week!

Är supernöjd med min maskin. Det enda jag saknar är en rotortilt, men de är ju så förbaskat dyra.

@@offgridsweden rotorilt på en maskin under 3,5 ton är bortkastade pengar... men kör man med bomsvängen och tilten du har så kommer man långt... ja har rototilt på min men plockar av den så fort det blir lite krävande grävning och stubbar som ska upp

@@skrotjorgenhellqvist6357 Ja, I alla fall när man ser vad de kostar. Hade gärna haft en lite större maskin, men det som styrde var att jag lätt skulle kunna flytta maskinen med en vanlig personbil och släp.

@@offgridsweden jo man kommer långt med en sån liten om man har med i beräkningen vilken tid det tar jämfört med en större maskin... ja drar min vio50 på trailer efter traktorn och få räkna att 1,5 mil tar en timme att åka (är jävligt kuperad terräng här)
