- DAF or Dissolved Air Flotation systems are solids separation equipments designed to treat industrial wastewater.
The video shows the removal of floated solids and fats through the micro-bubble generation system.
Flocs previously generated in the coagulation-flocculation system are clearly visible in the video.
The skimmers sweep the surface where the flocs are found and remove them by dragging. This system of skimmers, together with the heavier settled sludge removal systems that have been left at the bottom of the DAF by a sedimentation process, are highly effective, and the clarified water at the outlet of the DAF is free of solids, fats, oils and the associated organic matter.
This type of equipment can be designed according to the needs of the industry, by the amount of the water flow and the load of pollutants to be removed.
We offer:
➡️ DAF FPAC: small to medium flow rates with very high suspended solids loads.
➡️ DAF FPBC: large flow rates with low to medium loads of suspended solids.
➡️ DAF FPHF: very high flow rates and with a large amount of suspended solids.
SIGMADAF we are specialists in the manufacture and design of Dissolved Air Flotation and MBR systems.

I am not still clear how small air bubbles come and mixed with the be-floated sludge
How to control sludge pump ?
