Good to see these remastered 'episodes'.They have filled in the Kiwi summer. Not really well up on England's geography but what's the chance of a North Wheatley and Sanderstead pre-season game?...or even a Dan Allen - James Peck "Commentate off" ?
We talked about it - they are about 140-150 miles away and were planning a pre-season tour but our new nets are being put in which means we only have one slot before the league season and it’s already taken. I’d love to co-commentate on a game with Pecky, and we do speak from time to time.

We’re pretty much the same as last season with the possible return of Jallen at some point. Sadly Longcock loves and works in Birmingham so he’s playing locally - we’ll get him in some Sundays and friendlies, though. Can’t miss the great Jellycopter altogether….

Thanks. Btw in a 13 minute edit it’s mainly people hitting boundaries - they tend to come from the bad balls. See the longer version of the match for a more balanced view with lots of decent bowling.
We had a SA player in the 90's who knew and played with Herschelle Gibbs. He put together a fake document about a cheap sponsored tour there with free gear, etc. Several members were conned into forking out £200 - he was never seen again.

Another first class player ruining grassroots cricket. It’s just plain daft and it’s buying victories.
I rather like it, and they don’t always dominate - sometimes we play against first class players and they fail. We played twice against Windies keeper Josh DaSilva and got him out cheaply each time (and won) - and he’s recently scored a test ton against England.
I think the bigger picture is, England's used to pouching foreign talents and even thought here loads of us in the UK (UK born/residing grandparents) we also have the right to represent England if we choose to.
