Money management isn't simply a good thing to know. It should be considered a critical life skill.
It's something that should be taught at home and in school; when I was young, ages ago it was. I recommend the CZcams channel "The Swedish Investor" - 5 take a ways from various books. Personally I thought "Rich Dad / Poor Dad" was pretty good - actually there are several summaries on CZcams of this book.
@Just Frugal Me Agreed!!
Its an extremely simple life skill that people refuse to put to work not because they dont know, but because they want instant gratification. Know this and you will never work for another dollar in your life.
Assets put money in your pocket, and liabilities take money out.
Start teaching from Pre-School.
I believe trading opportunities should be available to every one at every point in time. As for me, I trade under active super guide, on sponsored and insured assets carefully analyzed by Mr Anmol Singh and I made more money in 6 months from referral bonuses. I plan ahead also, remember buying a share of a company makes your a part of the company.
Real story story from PAKISTAN.
I was from a poor villager family of PUNJAB PAKISTAN.After my graduation from my college my elder brothers gave me some money we opened a small shop in my village. After a year when I realized the public behavior I stopped sell things on credit.I introduced a new strict CASH&Carry policy. All the villagers opposed me even some members of my own family were angry at me.But I faced every thing very bravely.Right after 3 years I refunded all of my loan back to my brothers. Now every one was happy at me.Since then my business was growing by leaps and bounds because I don't let anybody go without cashing him or her properly. This is a 15 years old a 100percent true story. Now I have turned it in IRFAN FACility HOuse.IRFAN SAHOOLAT GHAR(NAYA BASAYRAA).
The house of PSP(problem solving products)I M very grateful to Alux.com for providing me such authentic, useful&helpful knowledge in remote village of third world country like Pakistan.
I do that every month and I bought a house, paid off my $94,000.00 student loans in three years and still save some at the end of the month. Thank you a lux👍🤘

So what do you do ?
I personally love budgeting... Makes me feel in control of my money, even if my income is lower than the usual... Especially when I'm debt free... No more credit card bills :D
my whole savings are the "emergency fund"...btw
Same!! 😀
One thing I always find interesting is that people say invest in the stock market, but no one tells you how. You should make a video on how to buy a stock, mutual fund, or index fund tutorial.
I’d say to start with an ETF for beginners wary of investing at first. Acorns is a good app
I already made this video. Check it out here - czcams.com/video/dnjPQj343Jo/video.html

Some other tips, do as much home repair and improvement as you can yourself. Use public transportation or a bicycle(The new electric bikes are great) no gas, car insurance, parking, and low maintenance cost compared to cars, and electric bikes are about 5%-30%, old fashioned pedal bicycles 1%-10%, the cost of the lowest priced new car. If you can replace 1 vehicle with public transportation and/or a bicycle you will save thousands a year. Electrics should continue to improve and drop in price as battery and motor technology advances. Another thing is examine and trade your hobbies and pastimes. Gardening, hunting, and fishing are hobbies that should actually pay if you don't go overboard in buying gear and going on special outings. For vacations switch from motel to camping vacations or go on day trips or more short trips rather than an extravagant and exotic vacation. Rent rather than own anything expensive that you won't use often. Limit yourself to buying only as much as what you need, house, car, or whatever. One good TV, piece of fitness equipment, computer, tablet, and cell phone should be plenty for most people.
recently i started following up on into youtube financial channels and ive taken a deep dive into investing particularly foreign exchange rates as it interests me. Tried several means trying to figure out the best approach to build my portfolio until coming across Mr Anmol Singh in an investment webinar
Presently receiving signals and trading with over $4,000 in my meta trader account. i need to be top class. need a greater eye for win.
I would love more content on legal insurance and security on trading the general market and would love to sit, listen and learn or negotiate with the most deserved marketer ever. Looking forward to liquidate some of my assets and to take topclass investment decisions. Part of business has so much to do with entrepreneurship. I have found so much value making researches on Foreign exchange and working smarter.
Every business is structured differently with different objectives, circumstances, oppurtunities. There is a lot of value you find trading under Anmol’s financial advise and he could successfully address marketing.
its my 6th month trading with on his platform with full access to my account platform and trading signals

Keep up the great work, Alux!
We thank you Aluxer!

@@alux could you guys do a video on credit and debit whats are good debts/bad, and how to use it to your advantadge
Learning about personal finance and setting specific goals with it (even if they are far off) really does pay off with your mindset. Get really organized with everything - list every debt and think about how much emergency fund you need, etc. If you are struggling - keep going!
Another way is too keep all your receipts for the month (gas, take out, etc). Combine that with your monthly bank and credit card statements for your overall expenditures for the month.
It's a little easier, you just have to be diligent about getting all the receipts that you use cash for.
Thanks Alux! I appreciate your hard work. You have and are enriching my life.
I think point no 9 (personal financial app) should come earlier in the list. For years I had always failed to keep track of my finance using some kind of note book, until last year a financial advisor encouraged me to use a personal financial app. And I love it! Still using it and have no intention to stop. Next thing I know, I have been doing every other point of advice mentioned in this list. And I don't think I am being frugal, i have spent more on some but have cut down on some. By keeping track of the money, I become more mindful with my money state and the awareness feels coming naturally.
I think we’re going to see a very frugal generation of people after this.
I see you everywhere, Dear!👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👍🏿
😅 nah they'll probably spend it even faster because yolo and you don't know when the next pandemic is going to threaten your life.
I'm quite frugal now. I was recklessly wasting money on things that didn't matter when I was younger
@@arnojr.7636 don't fret. Many people were like this. The thing is, where are you now? Brand new day. Glad you are moving forward.🔥

You can trade the worlds best company smarter with the right expert manager. I think trading m opportunities should be open to everybody. Now more people can trade with confidence cause of the large trading platform available with more than 4 years of experience.
Talking about trade expert. Situations get a lot better when there’s change of indicator statistics. It’s vital to adopt a risk manager for forecasting.
I believe trading opportunities should be available to every one at every point in time. Truth is these people coach others for a reason, would you step over a homeless person on your way to buy designer cloths? nage and invest your money the best way you can, even while at work, you still have full access to your trade group, website, account manager and the ability to trade against risk by monitoring your wins or loses. The process of ensuring huge wins/profit and experience got me the confidence of a true risk monitor/enterpreneur.
Got a rather swift reply after messaging Ben and am starting up with $2000, this couldnt have come at a better time. Cant wait for the result after the month.

Thank You, for this video, I begin my life money management in 1985 year. I know a long time ago, but the sooner the better, 1. I bought a home paid it off, two, clear up all debts, 3. Kept a money journal every since that time. I retired in 2015 because of this super practice day in day out tracking. Today I am totally financially set, I was clueless, had no idea what I was doing with less than 7th grade of schooling, If I can do this money thing anybody can. Number one thing is track your money. That it. Oh, start today. Thank You I always learn more about money.
A point is missing: "NEVER LEND MONEY"
What are u going to tell
Correction: Only lend what you're willing to give away.
Please do a video on, how to know what you want to do in life when you're goalless and clueless!
Getting a job, reading books I guess
The answer could be make a goal and get a clue.
Keep trying stuff, it will work out eventually
The way I did it was to think about what I enjoyed most in life SO FAR . What would put a smile on my face every morning (and I don't mean a relationship) .So if you went golfing and that was something you would love to do very often than perhaps that would be it . One thing that made me happy and caused to to grin ear to ear was firing up my sports car every morning. My main goal is to have money coming in while I am sleeping or at the beach .IE -I am not trading MY time for money .Other goals are great credit , great health ,and more travel. I hope this helps.
I feel you, im in that situation many times its hard
I love this channel, every week searching for different aspects of changing our mindset, lifestyle, worth. As a result of improving a lot of our lives dramatically with simples advice, and besides learning English too. Furthermore, a warm voice.👍👍👍👍
kioscovirtual That’s awesome to hear:) I think you might find some of mine content valuable as well when it comes to personal finances! Btw what do you think I could honestly improve in my latest video?
Awesome Aluxer, thank you!
Friendly tip you want to feel like you're broke by your next paycheck because the first and last part goes to savings before your next check comes. That savings will go to a stock portfolio. Once you can take up to 25% to open a rental property when you can, next that rental property should pay off your mortgage on that house and also 200 on top so you can make spontaneous repairs.
CZcams channels.ifbyou aren't pushing merch you're wasting your market. Every single logo you like is out there everywhere. Why don't people know you? You didn't make Microsoft Tesla North face. Brand yourself. What are you passionate about?
Damn, that bonus was CLUTCH..... NEVER SKIP THE BONUS. Pick a couple of things to stay ultra disciplined with and build on that 🙌🏾
Here’s my question to you Alux, what are the 15 most surprising things you guys have learned from this global pandemic?
After I graduated, I realized school taught me nothing about money. Then I found the book ‘the Richest Man in Babylon’ and learned everything about money that I was not taught. Also started watching videos like this. Lots to learn!
Finally Alux has made a video that’s relatable for most of us.
Your just new. Have you even looked at the backlog of videos? Like 10 of them are about ground level finance and way more about fixing your life at all levels.
I don’t think Alux is about being relatable. it’s to encourage personal growth that only some will take the challenge on.
Just try not to impress the people you don’t like by buying things you don’t need with the money you don’t have😁you’ll actually avoid lifestyle inflation that way too!
Self discipline in spending habits can go along way in learning how to manage money
Talking life Couldn’t agree more! It’s crucial not to purchase under impulse and not to sell under panic! It’s also what I share on my own channel:)
Thank you for being obedient to God Almighty to do this video cause it MUST be God tell Alux people to do this for me especially because I heard from The Lord recently that I need money management, even my friend told me that God said I should have money management.🤦♀️😐 So I am surprised & thankful that I see this video. WOW! 👍😁👏👏👏
Starting a small national business at 14 taught me how to think about money and budget. My mother gave me a Tax ID # for my 14th birthday and as she had a side hustle of tax preparation encouraged me to take classes from H&R after high school. I did (also following Rich Dad Poor Dad about managing and understanding money) tax prep of my taxes---always put someone bigger than you between you and the govt but it taught me a constant accounting of my personal and business monies for the past 20 years. I LOVE tax time!
I have a question. When should you rest, and what is a good ratio of work/rest? I feel guilty when I relax, but I often feel burnt out from working too much. Looking forward to your opinion on the subject. Thank you for your time, and the helpful videos you make.
*i do what i call personal accounting, using some techniques and concepts from accounting and use it to manage my finances, making a monthly income statement and balance sheet is worth much more than a simple budget.*
I do the same. Gnucash is a great free software program to do this.

There's a book called, Why they didn't teach me this in school,l by Cary Siegal it has 99 personal finance tips similar to this video. A good read. Thanks Alux!
What I found interesting was the personal finance course, monthly savings goal, How about a financial Journal overall to keep track of your daily spending.
The background music amalgamated with your voice is such a soothing experience. Thank you Alux!
Using financial apps is something I don't do, heard of these from other people.
Should look more into this.
Appreciate you guys!
Having a budget is critical. Work out how much money is left over each month and then forecast what you can put into our goals is critical. See now if you are doing enough.
See the median of every monthly budget and leverage strongly the petty expenses to achieve financial goal. But I strongly recommend to have alternate sources of income.
They need to teach money management early, like in 6th grade.
My family has a budget. Everything on there from the monthly mortgage payment down to the biannual car licensing fee. The license is due every 2 years but I broke it down to a monthly payment that goes into a savings account. My budget rocks🤑🤑🤑
We need more personal finance videos these are the MOST relevant
I believe adding some source of passive income(s) will also helps a lot. Can you give us a list of such a small but satisfying and helpful passive income ways and sources?
My budget is to just not spend much money. I think the biggest part of getting ahead is behavior modification.
Hey Alux, can you make a video on all your other businesses and investment strategy..... I really hope that you do
My wife uses mint and she loves it she focused me to make a budget like she has. I was scared at first but I’m so happy I did. If we want to retire with a few millions dollars by our mid-50’s. We have to watch our money carefully. Especially when living in SoCal. All I know is that we are in the right path. Thank you so much for this amazing video. P.s I’m a spending so my problem is when I sta rt to see a lot of money in the bank. All l want to do is spend. I thinking I need to go get my therapy help with that lol heheh. Good luck to all you lux friends. It really all pays off!
Well, I am 23. I am completely debt-free, have a huge emergency fund, make a budget every month, spend way less than my disposable income and use several personal finance apps. Therefore I have saved up way more than most people my age and even older. However, I don't have any investments at the moment. In the past I invested in Bitcoin, mutual funds and real estate though. I sold everything. Does that make me financially literate?
Hello Alux,I would like to purpose a video covering the 10-15. Most fun ways to spend your money.
It is truely a great feeling to have more money than month.
Personally I don't do a budget unless I have a large project coming up. I found a budget was great when my pay sucked. Instead I focus on tracking all expenses in a notebook and then downloading into a spreadsheet to analyze spending habits. From which I then had a come to Jesus moment - do I really need to eat out every day along with the coffee stops, and where else was I throwing money away? Emergency Funds are great, but what I do is once I have 3 months on hand then all other money goes into an Emergency Investment Fund, too Hell with savings. Bit by bit is absolutely correct, I started in the 1970's. Today I only work when I want to work and only on projects that interest and challenge me.
Wow, the only thing I'm missing from this list is using something like Mint. Generally I keep a very good track but I should use that also. Guess I'm on the right track...
Hey, It's me again. It's been a weird day for me because I figured out how to start making sales but that knowledge overwhelmed me and I started feeling like I'm useless and I can't do anything. I started motivating myself later on during the day but It was too much stress so I just gave myself a brake. But I decided enough was enough and came to watch an Alux video. Thank you so much Alux.com for giving me that extra motivation I needed to push through and realized that this is just part of owning a business and I just have to face it. There's a place I want to be in but I have to do things I don't like to get there.
Try a no Shopping year, only food, perhaps presents and bare necessities.
You got me returned to this channel not just on Sundays anymore. Thanks Alux ❤
I luv the Dave Ramsey 7 baby steps. It really works
I have been using the mint application and its perfect for keeping track of everything you spend and it even gives reminders of upcoming bills without even setting up a reminder. its to download and helps make life a little easier
Setting up a separate *Savings Account* was a big one for me. I heard that advice from 3 different places in the last month. Just set one up the other day ! It's like good Feng Shui for your finances 😄
Hi Alux. Please consider making a video about thriving in a job, surviving the workplace politics, and earning a promotion or climbing the corporate ladder. I reckon we haven't had a video about that interesting subject yet. Many thanks.
I use all of them! I have always used a budget!
I tried budgeting many times and when i did tow things life changed. There is only one line you need in the budget it starts with pay yourself first. Then shop like there is no return policy.
*PLEASE HAVE AN EMERGENCY FUND* and put it in a high yield savings account
What is that exactly please let me know? Thank you smart Lady 😀
What is a high yield savings account

Thanks a lot.
Voice is so sweet 🌹 like a "singing bird" ❤️
These are all ones I as a former Post Newsweek consumer reporter believe in!
Usually I found the channel's videos helpful... but not this one, not so much. To simply put it:
steps 1-5,8,9 = budget
steps 6-7 = save
step 10 = improve finance knowledge
The biggest potential for savings for me is food. I need to find the best ways to get my food cheap. I have many years of experience in cooking. I can make a meal out of anything. I just need cheap but nutritious options. Of all of the bills, I see the most potential in food. Too many people are used to not cooking and eating out three times a day. I made my breakfast this morning for less than a dollar. A potato, a few eggs and a little butter. The cheaper I make my other meals, the more I save. Of all the home skills I grew up learning, I appreciate cooking the most. I see the benefits many times a day.
Thank you for the advice Alux, I like the emergency fund idea and get your debt under control.

2:55 if your expenses are more than your income you don't have to cut down expenses. You just have to make more income.
All the boxes checked. Another point would be to make a total balance sheet every end of the month. Also, to make a wish list and prioritize, instead of purchasing everything blindly :D
Thanks Alux for this wonderful video.
We all know who really needs to group watch this--CONGRESS!!!!
Set a target for savings and emergency funds
I agree..
Lol
I agree with this whole video less one topic;
Use price comparison apps: Only if you believe your time is not worth anything. hear me out. Let's say you are a normal Amazon or target.com shopper with maybe one other website; say Walmart. All of a sudden this "Price comparison app" says: "found cheaper at "overstock.com" by $3. Sounds great right? Well, since you don't have an account there you are now going to spend the next 10+ minutes creating an account, adding your payment info, confirming your email and possibly getting bombarded with multiple marketing emails. Was it really worth it? in most (not all) cases; no.
That old fashioned transaction register has worked wonders for me.
Well contant of Alux Is best but Most of time i come here just to listen hello Aluxers welcome❤❤❤

don't spend more than you earn XD
I'm not budget foolish, I'm cash poor so while these tips are great I believe just as big of an issue is the lack of money, I've never met a working poor person who didn't know how to not only budget every dollar, but could stretch a dollar more than an elastic band
the must usefull tip is to have a budget with the app Mint.
