I think that if there arenât any children there then he should be allowed to ride his scooter there. But if there are kids then the old man is right.
Itâs a playground for kids, not a skate park. You may not be damaging anything but if groups want to copy you and numbers increase itâs likely the equipment will wear quicker as well as the rubber floor. In return increases maintenance and hopefully an updated sign to ban scooters.
He didn't say "you're the one who put alcohol in the bin" he said "you have alcohol in the bin and you think im causing the problem" saying pprevious people drinking alcohol was a bigger problem
I have been told off by a woman for walking past her dog with my scooter, as she claimed that scooters were banned on the beach path i was on, and i had almost hit her dog with it, which may just add was sniffing the other side of her. i was around 10 at the time and i have done scootering up and down that path many times getting off and walking past people. i think she mixed up the no cycling signs and assumed they extended to no scooters as well, but i have since checked and scooters are allowed. unbelievably she nearly called the police.
Wait, What, when did they change the law ??? I thought scooters were not allowed on pavements or public highways and could only be ridden on private land with the owners consent... OR unless it is a child's toy being used by a child under the supervision of an adult ????
@hannibalandgreece my bad... if you were 10, then the law doesn't apply ... adults are banned by the same law that bans them from riding pedal powered bicycles on the pavement too (not that anyone pays attention to that law either) .. such is life !!

Question is, if it's written on the sign, then does that mean is official? Obviously, it was written onto the sign, but it would stand to reason that an angry person wrote it since it would be printed in red text if it was official. The old guy should have led with it being on the sign, but I don't think it would be considered official until it's printed in red like the other parts of the sign. Also, if a skateboard would damage it and it's not allowed, then a scooter would demage the stuff as well. If not, just over time, it will. It's like adding a digit to a mph sign. Just because the extra number is there doesn't mean you should go 250 mph
I actually am on the old guys side on this one, go to a skate park stop doing this shit in a childrenâs park. One you are an adult unless you have a kid you have no business being there, two by being there you are actively preventing anyone else from using the park because you are creating an incredibly dangerous environment for any children to be in. What happens when a kid comes running out of nowhere and you run over or land on the kid because youâre too much of an ass to use the skate park next door?
Childrens play eqipment isnt made to support the weight of an adult man on a scooter. The slides are dirty enough as they are without wheel marks. These small fenced in playgrounds usually have an age limit of 12 to keep younger children safe. There are bigger or 'open' playgrounds that let older children and even adults use the equipment as its larger ans sturdier. A kid passing by (or even watching this video) might get the idea to copy you and it wont end well. So please leave children play areas for children.
Omg Karen alert hahaha who cares anyway. There was no one in the park , if it was packed full of little kids then he probably would never have gone in. Was empty bro
@@user-wn1mh8bw1kand? Look at how he was jump in about on the slide, not only does he look like a spastic monkey but it also damages and dents the slide, creating health and safety risks and just overall makes the slide uncomfortable. But who cares about what you say because youâre 7.

What abuse exactly? This equipment is made for playing with. Raging idiots like this man saying "off! no!" and encroaching on personal space are an issue.
Both of you are weird about this. You're a grown man riding a scooter in a playground, and he's mad about you minding your own business. Could pick a better place to ride though. Maybe somewhere that isn't designed for small children.
Heâs not hurting anyone, let him have fun. Sure if heâs actually causing damage then he shouldnât be here but whatâs wrong with him riding a scooter?
Even if the sign didnât say âno scootersâ itâs common sense when the sign says no skateboards, bikes, prams and trikes that scooters are also included in that list, causes the same about of damage as the other items on the list. Sure the older guy could have handled it better but it is a play park for small children, Iâm sure thereâs a skate park near by you could go instead
Yeah I agree. OP is just trying to make something out of nothing and all these young idiots pipe up to be offended like seagulls watching you eat chips at the beach.

He isn't pretending to be a police officer, he isn't trying to arrest the dick with the camera. He is making a perfectly reasonable (if not very diplomatic) complaint. It's absolutely his right, and responsibility to do so. The person filming is not obliged to listen to him, but that doesn't mean it is wrong for the older gentleman to say what he said.
@@Steven-ly9eipensioner is a lifelong taxpayer and the play area only exists because hard working men like him have paid in over the years. Some disrespectful bellend on a scooter turns up and starts damaging the hard work of others so the old guy is well within his rights to complain.

How is that remotely funny? You must be about 10 years old. Scooter bloke is a giant bellend
I can confirm that the âno scooterâ sign was real. It was there before and after and not added by that grumpy old man.
It actually said ânoâ and scribbles under so I should think that he wrote âscootersâ.

To be fair, Scooters belong in kiddie parks rather than real skatepark.
I thought the old guy was being annoying until I actually read the sign at the end. The guy was taking the rules way too seriously but Iâd say heâs actually in the right đ€·ââïž

Do you say the same thing when there are kids at the skatepark?
â@@billy6044no? Because the little kids won't damage the skatepark and the guy in the video is gonna damage the playground

I dont think slide is intended to be slammed with a weight of grown man, that coild actually be damaging
Fully grown man on a scooter in a kids parkâŠ
Your point??? Is there something saying adults cant be at parks now???
Iâm with the old man, the reason there may not be many people there is that perhaps some parents decided not to enter it with their kids due to a weird dude riding his scooter down the slide. Use your common sense.
100% correct
He has no sense: Common, Decency or otherwise.
The kids are at school. but tbf he should just use the skatepark next door. then finish with the slide on your way out. As for the old champ he needs a cuppa tea and chill.
I think that if there arenât any children there then he should be allowed to ride his scooter there. But if there are kids then the old man is right.

Guys, even if it doesn't make sense, respect the elderly

Itâs a playground for kids, not a skate park.
You may not be damaging anything but if groups want to copy you and numbers increase itâs likely the equipment will wear quicker as well as the rubber floor. In return increases maintenance and hopefully an updated sign to ban scooters.
"Your not my dad mate" and "you're the one that has alcohol in your bin" put me in heavenđ

The upride on the slide will damage it though.
@@Garuthius i did put in the thing i was 10, plus this was kick-scooter what you're talking about is an e-scooter.
@hannibalandgreece my bad... if you were 10, then the law doesn't apply ... adults are banned by the same law that bans them from riding pedal powered bicycles on the pavement too (not that anyone pays attention to that law either) .. such is life !!

â@@Garuthius As a child many years ago, approx yrs old, my friend and I went down a road on our bikes. That road ended and became a green (houses each side, path each side, and wide patch of grass down the centre) we decided to go down the grass in case anyone was to use the path either side. There was an old man in his garden shouting at us for not being on the road, and called us irresponsible. I've never forgotten it to this day. It shock me up so much it took me ages to get back on my bike again.
Sometimes even the best intentions aren't seen...

Stilettos could damage the ground there and could possibly cause injury to the wearer if they become stuck.
That "oh" in the end caught me off guard
bro did not caređŻđ„đ„
and i dont care about u AND ALSO WHY IS UR PFP SO STUPID
Why are you celebrating this like it's a cool thing?
â@@MolemanskiBecause they ride scooters.
If they've banned skateboards, common sense would lead you to conclude that scooters or anything else with wheels are also prohibited.
The elderly man was right, but he handled it wrong.
Buddy, there's a skate park right near that. That area is meant for the kidsđ
Iâm siding with the old man, like thereâs a skate park 4 steps away, y couldnât u go there, and what if there were kids there
