I never believed in love at first sight, but I guess I was wrong | Tessa & Kevin's Hamilton Wedding

Tessa and Kevin met at a party where she knew no one, and Kevin knew everyone. Kevin lied and said he knew no one else so that he could spend the evening with Tessa. He asked her out to coffee, and they went on our first date less than a week later and have been together ever since. They say they fell in love over time, or, as Kevin says, they just kind of slipped into it. The more time they spent together, the more time they wanted to spend together and badda boom badda bing a wedding! Six years later, they went on a hike on the hottest day of the summer, and Tessa was very grumpy because of the heat. Hiking is new for her since being with Kevin, so she was channelling her outdoorsy-ness. Kevin brought her down to a waterfall where a friend was hiding in the bushes to photograph the whole thing. He got down on one knee, popped the question and then had a bottle of wine they were saving for a special occasion and the glasses ready in the bushes for a cheer.
When planning the special details for their wedding day, they were intentional about honouring family and traditions while also putting their own spin on things. I asked them about what some of these things were, and this is what they said, "We are hoping to do a champagne spray photo. The wedding is at the Earth to Table Farm because Kevin's parents live on a farm, but we didn't want to use their barn, so we picked something in between. My veil is a pearl veil because my Grandmother, Ruth's middle name was Pearl, she passed away just before the pandemic, and we thought it would be a nice way to feel she was with me on the big day. The ring box is made of wood because Kevin is a woodcarver. I also got him personalized cufflinks." They also had Kevin's mother officiate their ceremony and wrote their own personal and meaningful vows.
