That's not cheating in speedrunning. There's two categories, *random seed* and *set seed.* Considering he knew exactly where to go to get diamonds, it's probably a set seed. But because he didn't show the world being loaded up, we don't know if this is legit -- he could've located the diamonds in creative mode.
