Sometimes it's easy to take for granted the scope of David's talent. That is until you see the model's comparison with a lighter. Only then you can truly comprehend and marvel at the mastery of his craft. It looks like it could be 1/32 scale with the level of detail. Absolutely amazing!
The fact that carefully applied paint can make such a model look convincingly like tons of steel is mind boggling. The extra improved details are gravy.

Would it be pedantic of me to point out that it would be 1/35, and that 1/32 is for aircraft (unless you're Border Models)? Yeah, I though so.
Agreed 1/72 scale is hard to create contrast with. David is a master at it.

You do the very best work. Its really art of the highest level. I am always surprised when you go to 1/72 and not something bigger. It looks very detailed, which it is, for 1/72. First time commenting. Your builds are pure art, no matter the scale. As I'm mostly a 1/72nd builder and I can fully appreciate the build and finish quality you produce. What does amaze me is the amount of assembly you do before painting, it goes against what I was taught (more than 50years ago and still do) to paint whilst assembling. Keep up the amazing work and superb vids, I learn something new every time.
Fantastic work, absolute insanity to fit such insane detail into such a tiny object! Just small factual correction for the narration: the add-on armour was designed to stop Soviet anti-tank rifles, and the mesh armour specifically was a weight-saving measure over the solid plates. It working against cumulative effect rounds was just a coincidence, and many HEAT rounds managed to get through with no effort.

Right now I modelling from scratch Late Ausf. J in SolidWorks and 3ds Max but aim for resin printing 1/35 scale. This video is good inspiration and of a great help.

Brilliant effect on the structure below the gun with the lighter shaded paint, layered wash and then the very light scratch colour - correct colouring and sharp, sharp highlights. I have never seen anyone get that effect on a model before. Absolutely superb.

Excellent craftmanship, you never disappoint! Reproducing mesh armour in 1/72 is particularly challenging but you pulled it off perfectly. Personally, not a big fan of 1/72, just too small for my liking but you always elevate it to the next level! 👍

Please consider a video about plastic model taxonomy. That is, I'd be interested your opinion on model brands, tools, etc. It doesn't have to be S-tier vs A-tier, but how and why is Hasegawa or Tamiya different or similar to Revell or Monogram, as well as tools and paints. Also, a "tools of the trade" video would be fascinating.

They really do use absolutely the cheapest of rubbers on models. No clue why. I have RC cars from the late 90's that still have pliable rubber wheels. I've some super old USSR era models with rubber wheels that also, still have pliable (but slightly shrunk) wheels. I've spare sink rubber valve doo-hikeys i use for spacers, that are from my grandpa... that are still pliable. It's unreal how far they go to avoid putting a proper material. And it's not like they don't know this happens.
