@@MJQueenForever - I know. I could hear them when it was first on. It's one of those things where you're screaming at the TV. And it's dramatic irony as we as viewers knew that Mark Jr and Courtney are half-siblings, but they didn't at the time.

@@MJQueenForever - Haha that would have been grim even for EastEnders. I don't know how old you are, but I'm old enough to remember the Kat and Zoe Slater "You ain't my muvvva!" "Yes, I am!" week way back in 2001. I was ten at the time and the controversy it caused was enormous. Back then, no other drama in the UK, never mind soap opera, had tackled a historical abuse storyline. It had sexual abuse, teen pregnancy, incest, the lot. Even the Joey and Lauren Branning romance was a bit on the edge, but those characters are first cousins and it isn't illegal to marry your first cousin in the UK. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were even first cousins. I know they got married 202 years ago, but the law still stands. A romance between half-siblings who don't know that they're half-siblings would have caused uproar. 😂

Mark talked about Tim with Grant. He told Grant how he couldn't imagine life without his "dad". Grant didn't want to ruin that for him due to how his not so great father/daughter relationship with Courtney! He gave him a great gift by walking away. Best thing he did for at least one of his children. It's a shame though... Coulda been a great storyline there to bring our Grant back for a while more. And Mark for that matter.

@@Guitar-qv6gu I know, I was just saying that whilst Mark figured it out? Grant didn't realise and thought by not telling him and by walking away from the situation, it would help Mark. Had Mark told him he knew? Or they had "that chat", it obviously could have been different (if ONLY ROSS WOULD BLIMMIN' STAY PUT 😭😭😭 lol). Or maybe Mark would have gone with Grant and Courtney. Just venting at yet another storyline that I absolutely would have loved to have seen play out lol. Sorry peeps.

Why are Ben and Phil in hospital
Phil was there because of his drinking back then and needing a new liver and collapsing because of it. Ben because he and Jay got kidnapped and attacked by the assholes that attacked him and his boyfriend before Callum. His name was Paul. They killed Paul
Grant got it the wrong way round, it should be "I'm his dad, but I'm not his father"
I love Grant and he is so right about what he said and what he said is still so true. I mean if Ben was straight and that was his girlfriends funeral Phil would be there in no time and he wouldn't have pushed Ben into breaking up with Callum to protect him from all the sheanu shit. So I am so angry with Phil that he still refuses to just leave Ben alone once and for all with his real family that loves him now forever and always no matter what happens. but I know that Ben will tell Phil to fuck off once and for all once all this sheanu shit is over.
