Yup the same VA; That if you noticed at ep4, Jinwoo's VA was gradually toning down his voice, making it more like he seemingly calmed down since he went all out and releases all of his subconscious feelings towards the snake. That, and... it also because of his shape that has been perfected by the system. Yeah, it's the system, you'll know it later
And the leaving the dungeon only applies to regular ones that comes from the gate, Instance Dungeons u need a teleportation stone and the reason why they bait people is bc they need specific number of people base on the rank of it they kill them so they don't need to split the money with their recruit and some of them are just sick in the head

When I was first read the manwha, I was also surprised by how humble and polite Jinho is, especially since he is actually from an extremely rich family. Characters like him are usually stuck-up and snobbish, but the fact he went out of his way to defend Jinwoo and call out the team for cutting him out the reward cut, especially when the team all outrank and can easily kill him, shows how good of a person he is.
Well the media generally portray rich people as arrogant and selfish. And in the real world this does hold up to some extend. The thing is, generally there are plenty of morally decent rich people out there as well, you often just don't see or hear of them because they don't walk around boasting about it. Not everyone got rich over the backs of others after all.

1) Jinho is wearing a really armour and shield.
2) they don't have to split the crystals with them.
3) if the spider eats Jinho and Jinwoo then he won't wake up until he is hungry. Till that they can move the crystals out of the cave. Which will take lots of time.

4) Having the boss kill them covers their tracks if they're unable to kill the boss (thus closing the dungeon) for whatever reason allowing their corpses to be recovered/investigated (autopsy would show wounds made by the boss rather than swords)

Lol, I like how they explain the whole "system" as the show progresses to the certain point where the whole "game" will be explained thoroughly. The best thing about it is it isn't some dumbass thing that the creator pulled out of their ass to make the Main Character seem broken in your typical Isekai or Power Fanasty. There is an actual reason why it resembles a game, in truth there is a larger meaning/significance to it. Right now Jinwoo may seem he is just flexing but the reasons he's acting differently will eventualy be revealed soon. Don't worry it isn't ENTIRELY brainrot. To answer your question about why they trapped them. There though process was that the spider would eat them, go back to sleep and then they could come back and get all the mana crystals while the it was fast asleep.

The anime doesn't show it. But he looked older when he was fighting the wolves in the train station. The change is so drastic because the animation studio didn't use that one detail. The transformation is supposed to be subtle
they made him look older when he fought the snake tho, for a brief moment, it s just that when you read it has a better flow, than watching weekly eps, technically speaking it would be better to watch the series after the whole season is finished, not weekly

You can enter in and out of the dungeon atleast the normal ones like this one. There is a phenomena or circumstance wherein a hunter cant go out of a dungeon but that is to be explain later on. If the boss of the dungeon is killed, the dungeon will disappear in a certain amount of time, that's the reason why hunters dont kill the boss or atleast they distract or hold the boss so they can get the profitable resources out the dungeons.

jinwoo was stuck in an instance dungeon using his key. normal rift dungeons aren't inescapable until the boss is defeated.
A lot of things are explained slowly but surely to understand one by one. And they keep you on edge every time
in the first episode when they found the second dungeon they said we had to let them know but didn't and after the people who ran away told the hunters what happened inside that's when they came to help. So yes they can enter and exit the dungeon

They are getting two additional to fill in so they can meet the 10-people requirement to get into a dungeon. The reason they always kill the 2 recruits is to split the loot only among themselves.
You can leave a dungeon anytime you want. The dungeon just won't close unless the boss monster is dead and with it trapped for now they can mine the mana crystals. The reason his body structure increased so much was to handle the fact that he was putting all his AP into strength. There's alot of muscle mass being added to his body.

Here is my understanding of how this system works. This is from watching till episode 5.
1. Jinwoo completed the secret quest "Courage of the weak" so he acquired the qualifications to be a player. This is from the notifications at the end of episode 2.
2. In episode 3, where he woke up in the hospital. There are 3-4 notifications. One is explaining that the system is designed to assist the development of the player, that's mean he can level up. This is not the same as the second awakening. The hunters will get a higher rank from the second awakening, but their rank will stay at that higher one, no level up.
3. When he completes any quests, such as daily quest or penalty quest, he will receive the rewards. For daily quest, he gets three rewards, 1st is recovery, 2nd is ability points, 3rd is random box. The random box could be anything, one is the key to an instance dungeon where he can develop his skill and leveling up. This dungeon is the same as others, but only the one who has the key can enter.
4. He gained the muscle not only from the daily quest but also from the ability points. Thats why he changed so quick 😂 hahaha.
For me, reading all the notifications is helping me to understand more.
To answer your question, 1. They need to recruit 2 more hunters to meet the quota. The hunter's association won't give them the permit to raid unless the association is sure that the risk is minimal at best. They don't want hunters to go to a dungeon with the possibility of a wipeout. 2nd: They will kill the recruits so that they can just split the loot to themselves. Less people, higher split rewards. 3rd. Jinho's armor is expensive which is a bonus to them. 4th. They know they can kill the boss if they want to since they already done it multiple times. They want the spider to be full to minimize its mobility. Lastly, they want to have an alibi that they went back to get the equipment to make it looks like an accident. Since all hunter's death are being investigated by the surveillance team. :)

In the rules of the Hunter's Association, you need to have at least 10 members (half are hunters who are C rank and above) to be permitted to raid a C-rank dungeon. Thus requiring them to fill out the extra quota of members since Hwang Dongsuk's group consists of only 8 regular members. So, what Hwang Dongsuk did was to find people to fill in the quota and then kill them in order to split the spoils of a raid to only their regular 8 members.

The team they went in with is already strong enough to beat the boss and are basically being greedy to get more mana crystals for themselves. Hence leaving jinwoo and jinho to be killed by the boss in order for them to mine more of them.

You can actually leave normal dungeons, but after the 7 day mark, monsters in the dungeon leave out to the world. It's a special type of dungeon where you cannot leave until you kill the boss...that episode will probably be in season 2.

Just to clear it up, the reason they left jinwoo and jinho in there is so that the spider eats them and goes to sleep… also, you absolutely CAN leave the dungeon without beating the boss. That condition was only for sung jinwoos instance dungeon and something else that I won’t spoil. The only risk with doing that is that you risk a dungeon break
the things on dungeons is you can leave it without killing the dungeon boss and came back later to continue but if afer a long time it's not closed they will be a dungeon breack. It if you didn't noticed, they only closed the boss chamber not the all dungeon 👍

They can go in and go out of the dungeon as they please. The problem is that the association requires a minimum headcount in certain dungeons for safety reasons. These guys however do not want to split the loot 8 ways cause less money so what they do is they keep 2 spots open, get 2 weaklings with the promise of high reward minimal effort and then kill them in the dungeon. That way they met the headcount and what happens in the dungeon.... If the dungeon closes there's no one to verify what they said and the dungeon closes 1 hour after the boss dies.
With Jinho and Jinwoo, they basically were planning to lock them in with the boss. Have the boss eat them. The boss would sleep, they would mine the crystals while the boss slept then kill the boss afterwards.
They need to mine the crystals first and then kill the boss, it might take a couple of days to mine all the crystals and if they kill the boss the dungeon will close in 1 hour.
in high level dungeons, they always leave the boss until they completely harvested everything in the dungeon.

Jin woo is probably a high C rank or a Low B rank. To be able to solo a D rank boss from the previous episode. But more of a B rank, because Kasaka was a C rank boss. And to be able to solo a boss you'd have to be at least 1 rank higher.
I think he’s High-tier C rank after the fight with kasaki cos Kasaki was stronger than him before the fight. And it is later on seen in this dungeon.

What you guys are missing at the end is that the dungeon only lasts for about an hour after the boss dies, and mining crystals takes longer than that. So they feed the boss some low-level scrubs, make sure it's fat and happy, mine as much crystal as they can, THEN kill the boss.
For a C rank gate, they need a minimal of 8 manpower. With 50% rank C.
And in Ordinary gates people can go in and out even though the boss is not yet killed.

Just a suggestion, but if you want to use headphones instead of sharing a earpod you should get a amp that can divert audio channels such as a knoxgear amp, this way you both can use headphones for better sound experience. Also this amp in particular is pretty cheap and would recommend.
Ok so the question about the hwang strike team ethics. Initially (from Lightnovel and manhwa) they dont plan to sacrifice people... only when its "necessary". In this case, they see the spider boss sleeping and to be sure it stays sleeping while they mine the crystals, they wanted to offer jinwoo and jinho as food. Then their plan was to mine as much of the crystals before killing the boss and closing the gate

One thing to clarify about dungeons as it seems there was some confusion. You can enter and leave a dungeon as many times as you want while it is there. When you kill the boss, the dungeon then closes and nobody will be able to go in and it disappears. Also, if a dungeon is not cleared within a certain time frame, a dungeon outbreak occurs where monsters can start leaving the dungeon into the real world. There IS an exception and a dungeon can cut off people from leaving but I don't want to spoil anything. That you will find out later in the series.

Remember when they went to the double dungeon, and they held a vote on whether to enter or leave? Doesn't that show that they can leave dungeons midway? Maybe it's only Jim Woo's instance dungeons that have a different rule.

you can leave the dungeon but you have to report it because after 7 days after the dungeon apeard it breaks and the monsters comes out. So they have to beat the boss to close the dungeon. I think they needed 2 extre is due to the fact that every dungeon has a number of people you need to enter, its a safety mesure from the hunters agency to reduce fatalitys. this way these guys can earn more money because they have 2 people less to pay.
