I can not wait until September!! It’s been 21 years since I’ve been on a cruise ship, always with Carnival. I’m taking my wife on her first cruise on the Liberty.
My favorite days are sea days. I like going to ports, but I enjoy being out in the middle of the ocean on a nice big cruise ship 😂

@@TheZachery82 yeah, I know how much I love a cruise and I am excited, but I’m more excited to see her face when we get on the ship and when we get to the Bahamas. She spent her whole life in Ohio. The best ocean water she has seen is Clearwater Beach. We go to Florida every year to see my family and friends. The first couple years we just went to Jacksonville Beach because I’m from Jacksonville. Then in 2020 and 2021, I took her down to Clearwater. She isn’t going to know what to think when she sees the waters in the Bahamas

@@TheZachery82 my vacation was split up this year. During that “C” word thing in 2020, the company I had been working for had a global layoff. I just started with the company I’m at now almost 2 years. So I have a week to use before November 14th then a week to use between the 15th and the end of the year. We live in Ohio, so we aren’t close to a port. That’s why we are just doing a 4 day. Next January, I’ll have both weeks together, if I want, so we are already planning a 7 day on the Celebration. I love the look of the older ships, but I have got to take one of the big girls for a test ride. Hell, when I did go on my cruises, the Triumph and Victory were the biggest ships in the fleet. I was on the Triumph in 2001 (September 29th-October 6th) then the Victory in 2002 on the same exact dates…. The crazy thing is, when we got to the airport for our 2002 cruise, I still had my luggage tag on my suitcase from the year before… we were on the same exact flight as the year before, like the same flight number and time. 😂
@@Retro-2-now I've done both of those ships also and enjoyed both but the newer ships just takes cruising to another level it's amazing what these ships have to offer (celebration and Mardi Gras, you should also try a dream class ship (dream, breeze, magic) they are a step up from the 2 you already been on, was my favorites until the new XL class came.

I went on my first cruise on the Breeze last year and had a great time! wanting to try a different ship either Carnival Dream- or as i've never been on Royal Caribbean before maybe Voyager of the Seas. Which is better RC or shall I stick with Carnival?
If you wanting to just sail out of Texas I recommend the allure of the seas, the voyager is a small older ship I would do the dream over that one but I would do the allure over both

Not in the room but the do have ironing rooms located throughout the ship
