He was guilty of properly identifying himself as a police officer by the end of the first season (2002).
You had to have a character like Prezbo!! He's not cut out for police work, like Namond wasn't cut out for the streets!!
I'd argue he was great at police work as long as it wasn't out in the field. Even though he barely left the office, his contributions to the case were crucial.

He wasn't a bad cop. He was a bad street cop. He was an excellent teacher though. So was major Colvin.

- Prezbo got a job in school he liked, he has a house and a wife
- Valchek is comissioner, the top dog of BPD
- Daniels is out of BPD
- Derrick Waggoner is dead

Prez's redemption arc was wonderful. I didn't have a good or bad opinion of his character until he became a teacher

I did have a bad opinion of Prez and it was pretty obvious he was directionless scumbag in the beginning.
Piecing up his own squad car. Letting a couple rounds go. Blinding that kid.
Dude was a mess and I didn’t like him.
But then he started providing value in the office and he started coming around.
It was whatever but you could tell be genuinely wanted to make an impact and make a difference.
When he became a teacher, it showed he cared, especially with Dukie, and his redemption arc was underway.
He ended up being one of my favorite characters.
Also didn't help he was working with carver and herc in the beginning. Carver got his shit together eventually but herc was a piece of shit. @@steverogers7601
