I've come up with the habit of reading my Bible as I eat breakfast before work, so maybe that would work well for you too Sam?? I totally understand the struggle of reading the Bible every day because of all the distractions going on! Sadie, I also can relate with you so much when it comes to screen time and what I choose to listen to. I need to improve on this as well! Thank you for the reminder to work on truly resting, I struggle with that too!! 😞 It's definitely important. I’ve been learning how important it is to detach emotionally from the stress of work and home life. I wake up plenty early before work to drink coffee, do a devotional, and also read a couple chapters of whatever book I’m going through at the time. I also like to journal 1 page of my thoughts each day. I look forward to this time every morning. It helps me to slow down, think clearly and objectively about the day ahead. I love you guys thanks for the content.
I don't know if it is just me or if other people also do this when they feel distracted, but sometimes I feel so ashamed of my distractions that I guilt trip myself to perhaps encourage myself by remembering of how Jesus went to the cross so easily because he loved us all so we can spend eternity with him. This helps to bring the fear of the Lord in me and reminds me of how everything in the grand scale of things doesn't matter except Jesus. Pray for me and us all, so we all can walk in The Spirt constantly and deny our flesh. Also great job in holding each other accountable that is very important to have and helps a lot. Stay blessed and keep these incredible videos coming 💜 Side note: We understand you guys are busy don’t worry about it. Thank you for caring enough to address that, not a lot of creators do that. We truly see your genuineness and care for us in your comments.
