Scope room doesn’t work until your sim makes a gender preference. To do this you’d select a sim of the gender you want and have them flirt check sim out. Then you’ll get scope room option. Initially you can’t because the game doesn’t know which gender your sim is going after.
I was thinking the same thing. In one way, it does make sense if a sim doesn't have a sexual orientation yet, they can't check others. On the other hand, by checking one, the player have to choose sim's orientation, which isn't always nice, because sometimes you want the sim to find themselves, by themselves. Good thing there are mod items for that...

Sometimes chemistry breaks down how you communicate with another person. Like it doesn't mean it's always romantic. I like my husband to be my BFF in real life with that great chemistry but there are all sorts of relationships out there. So zero chemistry/lighting bolts can just mean they don't know how to talk/communicate well with one another. Even if one day they fall in love it'll always be an issue they struggle with.
I always turn on all the lights when I get to a community lot. Also, Red's is the perfect place to turn on the jukebox and change the station to Oldies. It just adds to the immersion for me. A family Sim with a Romance Sim? The drama is on the way.
this is soo exciting i don't think i've ever watched a legacy challenge but i'm looking forward to this sm!! ngl it took me a minute to realize the townie walkby was a teenager too i realized pretty much the same time you did 😭😭 you getting the scene ready for a slow dance under the stars only to get a harsh rejection under the stars was incredible lmaoo. n THEN the scene goes from eric asking joy how much money she has to him getting chased by bees this is too good 😭😭 actually the photobooth woohoo is so WILD bc why does a whole crowd have to drop everything n sprint to it to cheer them on like ughh that's so awkward but hilarious 😂😂 n the crowd is wild too like they cheered n got all excited over their woohoo but didn't care at all during the proposal LMAOO it felt great to see them finally get a cute lil house! i'm so excited for thissss
