1- Can you also share the information about palki ...are there enough palki available in gaurikund for going ahead? Or there are only pony options...?
2- If you are aware of the palki options,can you share the price details...also do we get them on a round trip basis?
3- Also in May month what kind of clothes should we carry? Warm or normal summer clothes if you have travelled in May month ever.
4- Do we get sleeper buses from Haridwar to Sonprayag or only sitting basis buses.
5- In kedarnath stay , do we need to carry food on our own or do we get any thing in the hotels over there?
6- Is there any breathing issues we face on that altitude? Does it become normal later ? In May month specially...what should we carry for any breathing issues
Sorry for the late reply.
1. There were less Palkhi options as compared to Pony. There were too many ponys enroute as well.
2. I had not personally enquired about palkhi options but you can expect its cost around 8k to 11k for round trip. These rates were shown on one of the board there.
3. We travelled in May 2022 . The Weather is highly unpredictable. We experiened Cold, Rains as well as direct exposure to sunrays. So i would suggest always carry rainy clothes with you. While on yatra wear light clothes. Even if it is May since its on an elevation it is cold.
4. I could only find sitting buses.
5. Yes you will find hotels but you will get only Maggie, Paratha, Daal chaval. But i would suggest carry dry fruits.
6. You may face breathing issues but it totally depends on your health. We did not carry anything for the same. You can buy a medicine called as Diamox it is for High altitude sickness. Also if you want you can carry Oxygen cans which are now a days easily available in Pharmacy.

What is the total amount you spent like waha rehna khana pina including travelling charges
Actually humne Badrinath, Kedarnath aur Tungnath kiya. Humne per person 25k spend kiye for 9 days from Mumbai to Mumbai. But isme most of expense was due to hiring of private cab.

If you are going by Bus then the bus leaves very early in morning. If you want to go by Taxis. Sharing or Private then you can get it anytime. We got it by 4 pm for Rishikesh.

Thanks. Best months can be April, May, October & November. Other Months can be avoided due to Monsoon.
But overall the weather is highly unpredictable there. We went in May 2022 but it rained there for few days. So in short it depends on your luck what sort of climate you may get to experience.
Tent mai bath & wash room milta hai kya aur nahane ke liye kya arrangements hai please tell me urgently towards we are going by helicopter on 13 june & return 14 june

if we reached Haridwar at 07:45 by train 19019 (Bandra - Haridwar Express).
Then can we directly travel to Sonprayag or Gaurikund and stay there only??
Should we get bus after reaching station...? Or any other to avoiding not to stay in haridwar and save 1 day?
So that by not staying in haridwar we can save our 1 day, by going directly to Sonprayag or Gaurikund and take hotel and stay there and start our trekking from next day only.
Can we do this? Is it possible??
Hello. It is only possible if you get Bus by chance. Mostly buses leave by 8 am max. So it is little bit difficult. One more option is hire a Private/Sharing Taxi. They will be available a bit late.

@@hemant7x Dont think much about that. Its himalayas, highly unpredictable. We went in May and just before two days there was high rainfall and yatra was stopped. So you cannot choose a good time. If its in ur destiny you will reach there 🕉️🙌🙏 Har Har Mahadev!
What will be the best time to visit kedarnath? Including mild snowfall
Kedarnath temple is open for 6 months only which ranges from April to November. If you want snowfall then Oct-Nov has higher chances of the same but cannot guarantee. Secondly the weather there is unpredictable you may get snowfall in May as well. So purely luck.
