I agree Dr. A read Jody like a book. And she appeared to be moved. However, Jody to me is a master actor. I think she did all she did just to stay on the show.

Is it an intentional choice that you guys have never commented on lil Aron’s vague sexual preferences and how they likely have an impact on Jodie’s attraction/affection/ behaviour ?

Good question. Kevin has, in a previous video, hinted that he was seeing something along those lines. But because we don't know for sure, it's not really something we want to spend time speculating on. Also, if we as the viewers, see that there may be something else with his preferences, then Jody would have been able to see them more often and up close. So the potential that may have on her attraction/affection/behavior should have been there before they met in person and if it were an issue for Jody, should have changed her desire to meet in person.
