In UK for 5 years saw his last podcast, he is spot on about UK. But in Pakistan it is pretty much impossible to do business within for someone who is honest. Bribery, no one trustworthy, thugs everywhere, instability, people with no purchasing power, inflation. Unless you have an export business you can't survive in Pakistan.
same in uk
G bilkul aesa hee he pr is wja s business krna to ni chor sktay do business give work logo ke achae k lye agr apko bhala kr k sila chahye to wo ghalat he mene b yhe soch k bohat sal aram kya he lekin kam krna he to khud krna pre ga bahir ja k b log suba uthtay hen khud nashta bnatay hen or rat ko aa k b khud bnatay hen chalo yha khana to mil jata he ghr p or kaam krk aye to izzat b mil jate he
Wrong. I have seen people making millions with a shariah complaint business models, Zero bribery as well
Exactly .and jasi situation ha Pakistan ka halat thek hona ka lg nahi raha
In every country there is a market culture and system and to run a business you need to adopt it...
I know issues are there in Pakistan, but very recently people have started I.t and e-commerce business which are becoming big and viable the developing industry like is easy to penetrate...
And as per you saying rule regulations kam hony ki waja se thori leverage bhi milti,
Compare to UK, very difficult to penetrate in any business layers and imdepth of competition is lethal, then difference of culture and system, lastly uk is highly taxed and very strict in rules which doesn't even make sense.
For eg: if 2 people fight in a pub, police take action against pub for running a fight club, 😆
In cad of robbery by a UK slum gang, police will say they will come out in 6 months and get physically personal with you, so they say take your complain back and let them do what the hell they want 😂
ITS BEEN 18 YEARS LIVING IN THE USA AND I AGREE 100% WITH YOU, PLEASE MAKE MORE PODCASTS ON THIS TOPIC ❤
Bro mn bi USA jana chata hun mn engineer hun kia aap muje guide kr skte ho? mere pass ek opportunity ayi thi 50% scholorship pe master krwa re the datascience mn. but that 50% was 40k dollars which no one can pay like 80k for a master degree is insane.
Bro aap koi aisi job ki jugar kr skte ho k mn work from home krun aur 1k/month kama lun. mn IT field mn kam kr ra hun is waqt.
I’m in uk from 9 years and totally agreed with his experience and travelling abroad and stay contact to Pakistan as headquarter home country brings positive impact on individuals for Pakistan in these crucial times of Pakistan 🇵🇰 ❤
Chutyapay ki bat mat karo. Developing country me reh rahay ho bhai kyun kharab hogay tum.
I was eagerly awaiting for part 2.. thank u sir.
We cane back 10 years ago from uk and i m v happy in Pakistan.right decision at right time🫣🫣srf Allah pay yaqeen rkho us ka sath na choro phr ap jidr b ho woh ap ka Sath nhi chory ga.
This guy is spot on. I am in the UK and its actually worse then he says. Tell people about rising cost of living crisis. The never ending bills and on top the open Islamophobia.
People will tell you everything wrong in their own country. Perpetual complainers!
@@Mumsiken I don't think you get it. It's right to tell wrong things to warn people and to tell them the reality as oppose to the engineered perception. You need to wake up Neo.
Well let people do what they want to there are several perception on going what is a hect is doing in all vein but most often people don't think much that's where we lacking but if we full of pat we even move lower rank country to fit well in it@@asadmahmood9284
I agree. I can deal with everything except dishonesty and hate (Islamophobia) and definitely very high in UK, US, Germany and Northern countries like Denmark etc. I realize not everyone is, the majority may not be, but if the punishment is non-existent then any person will feel out of place. So let's not sugar coat it. Pakistani people complain about Pakistan but they forget that the rest of the world has its problems.

Didn't u ever see a khuwaja sira in Pakistan?
The amount of khuwaja sira I saw in Pakistan is so high. That I never saw that much account their
Agree
Same situation in Pakistan
Many British Pakistanis are moving to Pakistan. I myself am hoping to move in the near future if the finances work. We all have our own reasons. The UK is not what it was 20 years ago. It is going downhill fast and I am referring to the education and health system while wages stay the same and costs increase. It's a wake up call.
Those problems are even worse in Pakistan
@@saadhasan2300 kbhi UK mai 30 40 pound ka tarbooz kharid k khana, jo Pakistani apko taqreban 1 pound tak milta hai wo bhi 10Kg size.
Hum Pakistani itny munafiq hai k kbhi apni strengths pr baat nhi krain gy bus weakness ky ronay roty rhain gy, there are countries worse then Pakistan...
We live in a continent where more then 50% pf the world population is just in 3 4 countries...
This region can never become resourceless, we just need is social awareness and education to counter our problems... Instead of running away as 3rd class immigrants or citizens
Fantastic podcast 👏
Thanks for guidance
This man has changed my perspective of thinking
RE: LGBTQ
Maybe Saqib bhai kids are grown enough and have developed that bias and hatered (a good thing, imo) against gay-osity and hence Saqib bhai isn't so threatened by the extent to which this LQGBTQ stuff is being installed in young children's minds. But I am. My kids are young which is why I;m moving my life to more conservative state where this liberal agenda is weak. It's a real concern for some us, brother. Please don't minimize our concerns. They're real.
Very productive podcast
My relative from Pakistan worked in i.t till 35. He didn't earn much to sustain a living.
So he came to the uk and did a masters and now he has a good salary in the i.t field with a sponsorship he is earning well.
Albiet, he did get support initially from family in terms of free accommodation for the initial year.
That's the exception not the rule.
Bhai Pak me loss nhe hoga. Corruption hogi. Fbr aega, Nab aegi, police aegi, rishwat aegi. There are other problems in Buz in Pak then loss. He dont have any idea of those

Thank you for this podcast. A much needed discussion. I`m born i Norway, my gradfather came to Norway in 1971. Last time I was in Pakistan, I met a guy at a coffe shop in Islamabad who said that he didn`t understand why so many pakistani youth were so eager to go abroad. He said that in Pakistan he have a comfortable life, he beeing a middle class man, working in an office had a far better life in Pakistan rather than going to europe, working day and night without leisure time, and maybe save up some money. I hope you guys can make a podcast about how the life is for us who are born and raised in western countries, where we are neither eurpeans nor pakistanis. Again thank you for great podcasts.
I agree with everything that Mr saqib has said other than the fact in Europe and in North America no one snatches your property, police doesn’t misbehave with you, judiciary isn’t compromised, the law doesn’t favor the rich in 99 percent of the cases. Food is mostly clean. These are big pros of living in west. Kindly highlight this comment.
The best of the best podcast with Saqib Bhai, being in UK since 2010 , I am agree everything he is saying and trying to Convey.
It was a good discussion and I have to say he has a lot of valid points but LGBTQ wale mamle mai uncle bongi mar gae but again that is not his area of expertise and he was just expressing his opinion. I also wanted to share about my experience living here in the US. I live in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley and have to say that we have a very vibrant muslim community with mosques with proper activities and fests not neccesarily in the most islamic way but atleast there is an effort. Infact we even have an Islamic College here in Berkely. Most of the muslims that i have come across are well off so if a student decides to come here to study and has a proper plan I would highly recommend given that you understand the trade offs as he mentioned in the video.
Europe has more lGtV influence, rather then US because US is heavily Christianity driven.
200% he is absolutely right, Very Informative Podcast, I want to see him more in the podcasts, please bring such persons to educate our people.
On a lighter note Saqib can Become very Good Villain of Bollywood or Pakistani lollywood...Ma Sha Allah He got the Looks Of Villain 100 percent 😊😂
Saqib bhai apne jo situation explain ki hai vo bilkul spot on hai lekin yeh new Gen humari trha stubborn nhi hai yeh bohot jaldi adapt kr lety hain aur main ne UK main jo new wave immigration dekhi hai Pakistan se yeh bohot different or progressive hain and tbh they are lot better than us.

I agree nai atay UK but I'm definitely moving out of Pakistan after an informed decision but can't live in Pakistan anymore budhay logon ne tabah kar dia ha Pakistan
Real problem with pakistani youth, they don't want to invest time, wo social media dekh dekh k foran paisa or position pr pohanchna chata hai...
Everything takes times, wherever you go... You need to give more time whether its a relationship, job, or business
Great bnda, speaking truth, which majority migrants don't ❤

he mentioned punjab commerce college which i believe is the old name of punjab group of colleges. Having gone to the same college, my principal used to say (and still does) that every man sitting on a big seat in pakistan has been our alumni. didn't believe him until now.
At the times when public schools were deteriorating, PGC established its brand well by imparting quality education to some extent

One more podcast please with him 😊
Main takeaways from the podcast is do your research before taking the plunge as everyone will have very different circumstances. Don’t leave without a proper plan.
The other reason people leave is the possibility of citizenship, which opens up even further opportunities
Sir baat Urdu ma kareen her koe tu aap jassa parh likha nahi.ya yeh channel sirf English samajnay waloon Kay liya hi ha?
I agree with the guest. But many people will not and dont want to understand until they get into the situation..
Don't listen to these stereotypes. Just move or stay whichever country supports your goals.
Opinions of this guy are totally useless. Every country has its pros and cons. Just evaluate according to your needs and move.
He don't know what's going on in your life.
Welcome again, Trevor Phillips 🎉
1:00:30 then why are you, as a UK citizen and resident talking about what happens here in Pakistan? By your own logic it falls apart doesn’t it. And yes women are being corrupted in Pakistan but we haven’t yet reached the level of skirts and naked and drunk sisters in public
just a nobody sitting with a nobody to discuss about a topic without disclosing anything about their background
and they r the experts , LOL

I totally agree with you Sir! I am in Uk with family including 2 young kids and studying for free but I come across so many students asking for home and work. It’s terrible here but people don’t understand when we tell them in Pakistan
Not only money matters
Rule of law, healthy environment, Education system etc
Pakistani 0.1 % qanoon ki pasdari nahi karte aur kehte hain ke humein Pakistan mein Rule of law chahiye? 🤣
We'll still come
The point that he mentioned about people being afraid of the loss is exactly what i've been through.
In the bpo industry people don't learn they just open up a center and when they loose anyone/anything they get angry and forget about it.
I've been in this industry for 15 years now and all i know is no business absolutely falls or stays high, there are times when you're in a bad position so you brainstorm your way through.
Just like in any other business you never stay on top forvever it's a myth of staying on top,to learn something new you'll have to bleed in the field of practice.

This guy is so confused. He’s arguing to not talk about problems and lifestyle and religious issues in UK if you’re living in Pakistan. At the same time he has spent entire adult life in UK and is commenting on culture and issues of Pakistan.

Dear Aman,
Please organize a podcast on fast urbanization in Pakistan... "Herd Mentality" People moving from villages and small cities to Big cities and in the process sacrificing their mental peace, health and also overcrowding cities which are already overwhelmed with issues such as sewerage, traffic and crime etc.
Regards
A topic which no one discuss these people overcrowd metropolitan city . Government should have made new city models and plan . Inflation when hits people move to bigger cities and make the city bigger
Bro Pakistan is the worst and uncertain place to invest 50+ lac in business. When someone is spending in going abroad, here is more certainty of achieving breakeven 😌
I was going to go take a shower before watching this podcast but now, I fink ill go take a baaf. Great Podcast! Knowafimsayin?

Thought process matters. Financially secure thought process surely cant be relatable to insecure ones.
He's right about UK but reality on ground in Pakistan is very different. It's the social pressure, it's this constant psychological torture your families put you through ignoring all realities of the world and start looking at you like a loser in that 10 year struggle. But nonetheless the guy is not completely wrong and i find deep respect for his opinion and relate to it in many many ways!
THIS PODCAST IS CONFUSING, NO AGENDA, NO PATHWAY, NO DEFINATION, THE TITTLE SHOULD BE " HOW TO CONFUSE CONFUSED PAKISTANIS"
You guys need to understand that Pakistan is not only some gini chuni cities like FSD LHR ISL OR PESHAWAR, in cities mai shayad reh k pata nai lagta keh kitni ,ushkil aur gareebi hai yaha, pakistan is going through a major crisis, is mai survuve kernay k liye we need laws and justice jo yahan nai hai, bs baat khtm

My Opinion on why people want to move abroad:
People don't just need money, they need peace of mind, a good environment, hope in the system, meritocracy, and most importantly stability and security for themselves and their families. Even If you have money, but not anything else, people won't stay there. You can easily earn money here like real estate and political corruption and many more but is it safe to live here? Is the system ready to improve and provide people with their needs? I'll give you 2 examples:
1) There is no political and economic stability in Pakistan. A graduate works hard, earns hard, invests somewhere, only to lose all his real worth every 3 to 5 years due to economic downturn and political uncertainty. Why would people want to live in a place where they work hard only to lose everything because the system is not ready to provide stability? Why wouldn't he go to a country where there is really more stability and he can really improve his class at the end after few years?
2) People want their lives, wealth and property must be protected by system and system must ensure safety of their own citizens. Why would I want to live in a society where every time I step out of the house I have to face two crazy people on a motorcycle trying to rob me? Where I am killed for my faith, where my property is burnt in protest, where I do not get justice in the courts?
People need security, stability and justice. You give them that, they'll love being here. Being away from your loved ones is never easy!
Great discussion but I believe there isn’t much emphasis about professionals from Medical , IT, Engineerign backgrounds who’ve actually achieved heaps in a very short period of time hence it’s not wise to put everyone in the sMe basket . However it’s true it’s a legit journey of 15-20 years !

A Senior Person has been living in Berlin since 1985 in the same Apartment, Recently said that this House, Street, Super Market and people are still strangers to me.
This is the reality here, people living here have faced/seen the truth and they are shallow now physically living here in Europe mentally/Spiritually living in their own countries.

Study abroad is not only about UK. Look for good option make a good pre abroad plans, look for European countries and the USA, I have been living in the USA for past 2 years as a student and I did alot of myself, achieved alot during that time and my family is in good financial condition, can’t think to do all these things in next 10 years in Pakistan, choose wisely and choose to leave Pakistan

Assalaolaikum. Thank you for reading and responding to my comment. I appreciate it very much. Saqib bhai, I'm sorry but I don't buy your argument because none of us know the future. Rarely anyone maps out their future and enacts on it and it turns out exactly as they planned it. We all take a leap of faith. We hold tawaqul and make strides. Exactly as you did. It's hard for me to understand why you're now telling everyone, don't do what I did which apparently worked out well for you by your own analysis. When I said you seem to be confused about whats wrong in western societies... I was keeping husn-e-zun (giving benefit of the doubt) to you ke you're not simply trying to deny the same opportunity to others which you availed for yourself. I felt like you were unhappy with things and didn't quite have awareness of what makes you unhappy. Btw, I'm a libertarian, I don;t equate money with happiness. To me, freedom is more valuable than anything else. I feel like you touched upon the truth a little bit. The lack of freedom.. which you call "experiences" which immigrants in UK tend to miss out on. There's a similar phenomenon present in America too. The immigrant tends to be scared and worried and there's a lot to lose. The stakes are high. There's very little margin for error. A lot is riding on him, ie his entire family etc. As I said before, maybe I'm making wrong assumptions about UK based on my American experience only. In America, you can certainly grow so long as you are willing to indulge in interest leveraged businesses. It's almost guaranteed. And that's my point. In America, you are given only 1 choice in stark contrast to all the freedoms US loves to boast about..... and that choice is, are you willing to take a loan and pay it back over a long time with interest? If yes, then you're golden. You'll have money IN THE BANK. but most of our people will never enjoy it. They'll never cash it out. Never return to Pakistan with all the money and it'll all go back to the Angreez through taxation or consumerism. Their wives and children won't let them and this is by design. Try being politically incorrect (don't actually do it!!!) . You'll be shocked how quickly all your money becomes the state's money. This is a severe lack of freedom.
This thing you talk about where expats tend to freeze a snapshot in time of Pakistan and imagine Pakistan like that forever........ it's not that Pakistan is moving on in a positive way. It's just that Pakistan is changing (for good or bad) at a more rapid pace than UK and America and this is due to the freedoms still present in Pakistan. Our youth in Pakistan, are brave and free thinkers and have the time and opportunity to think critically and analyze while everyone in America and probably UK too, are too busy paying bills, and the 30 year mortgage they've taken on. They're not afforded the opportunity. Not just immigrants. All of us, goray and desi alike. These western countries purposely remain at a slower pace compared with more free countries like Pakistan. How long that lasts, Allah knows. I hope for a good while more.

Thank you, Amanullah bhai for hi-lighting my comment. I think this is a great idea. Reading and commenting on people's comments.
I was in UK a month ago been there for 1.5 years and I can confirm every word this person said is revelation because I saw people suffering degrees specially MS is a joke even after completing nobody willing to give the job and if they provide the opportunity the terms in offer letter is so absured no one will work on thoes condition in Pakistan tbh. Degrees are worthless there and study is Pathetic. Editing for rain thing found it funny we had same conversation there as well I though it was only us rain is depressing indeed. 🤣
The whole conversation is useless since every place comes with its own issues. I think the place you decide to live definitely has to depend on your goals. Whether you live abroad or in Pakistan, you have to factor in the downsides you will face. You’ll have to educate and train your children respectively.
The west has a lot to offer for Muslims who are competent enough and are willing to compete globally in order to spread Islam. So it totally depends on what objectives you have.
this is exactly what he said mr genius
Pak me to jese housing crisis nhe!? Kitni awam homeless roads pe so rhi he Karachi me. Choran dilwa lo isse. 100 me se 1 fail hoga UK me, Pak me 100 me se 80 kuch nhe kr paen ge
define failure. any immigrant coming to uk without high demand skills will just be a hamster on the wheel. if thats what you want then its fine. make 2000 a month spend 2000 a month. if you think you will be rich with basic style business ideas, off license stores and taxi business. then you are in for a tough road. think wisely. immigrants with high demand skills can have a good life but no skills just basic job, for most people i know in that situation they are hand to mouth. if you have a hand to mouth situation in pakistan then its quite pointless, if you fully broke in pakistan then moving isnt a bad idea. multiple factors have to be taken into account.
He is partly correct
However, he is not interacting with the doctors, bankers, engineers from Pakistan who came to Cambridge oxford, imperial and UCL and are mashalllah leaders in their fields in UK.

2nd passport is mandatory for every pakistani after this 2024 electoral circus. you must go out see the world explore opportunities ,culture and then come back pakistan and serve.
because these military and civil bureaucracy & politicians has no concern with common people of pakistan they jeopardise the country infrastructure since 75 years
. they just give lollypops after 2-3 years.
so take other side of coin and encourage people to move abroad get high education , explore opportunities and then come back to pakistan >>
