Womack & Womack was the singing and songwriting partnership of American musicians Linda Womack (25 April 1953) and her husband, Cecil Womack (25 September 1947 - 25 January 2013).
'Love Wars' was their 2nd single, released in 1984 which reached #14 in the UK charts and # 12 in the Dutch charts.
This was their only performance on Toppop on 17 May 1984.

I have been looking for this song for over 30 years... I was born in the 80s, and grew up listening to my father's records. He played this one often one particular summer. I didn't know what the album cover looks like, who the singer/s were, and all my child mind could remember was that there was lightning in the background of the song. I would listen to hours funk and r&b hoping to one day stumble upon it. When I told my dad who they were he was not clearly not ecstatic as I was.. and said "ohhhhh yeah, I had no idea who you were talking about Chile."😂
