That's easier than I have been doing it. I usually duplicate the video, then drag the duplicated video down into the sound timeline as an audio track. Your way saves me a step.
Me too. Its a handy trick when you are editing video where the audio from scene 2 begins before the video for scene 1 ends. GOTHAM is particularly fond of doing that. Ditto when you have a video of someone talking and the camera pans elsewhere before they have finished talking. Have you ever used it to cut up and edit a track? I have tried and the software just doesn't cut it..... But hey its video software so it shouldn't be expected to. I used to have a PC with Soundlab, Acid & Audacity on there but I've never found anything of that nature on Android. Sorry for partially hijacking the thread.

If l have audio and even though it's at maximum(with the sliders in audio mixing) it is however still too quiet....is there anyway of increasing the volume to a satisfactory level, even if that means exporting to another app and reimporting to Power Director?🤔

You should be able to export to an audio app (I am not aware of one), increase the volume, and import the audio back into PowerDirector.
