Looking back at 35.25 when you moved and rotated the bus it must have been connected to the rest of the cars as the mesh connected them all. If you look to the left of the screen in the distance as the Bus is rotated the connected cars in the distance rotate as well. Something I've done way too many times as well.
Yeah I found it off camera. Went to an earlier save and grabbed the bus and saw it. Scrapped it (which took a bunch of random cars) and rebuilt. All is good now.
It is a pitty one can not select and enlarge the projected image. I wonder if it can be done in the file itself, meddling with the stats to increase size of the image.
Also, those red metal car holders look like they would make good frames for a side or back entrance. Just flank either side with a barrier, and then place a door or small gate entrance on other side for security in case the first door is compromised. No roof so as to use the small area as a kill box.

someone else mentioned rotating and flipping the cars, maybe leaning some against junk fences like a reinforcment, i second that notion and add, making some gateways akin to carhenge from the cars would be awesome, ive seen ppl do that at starlight but atomcats garage is the perfect spot for that

What would look really neat is if you use the rotate commands and flip some cars upside down and others on their sides with junk fences behind or inside them like support.
I will be doing some kewl stuff like that in upcoming video(s)

With stuff getting misaligned - might be similar to rug glitching where certain items attach to each other.

Can't remember the name of the mod that allows you to build a settlement here (I've used it), but it would do some weird stuff like this.
