The way he reaches below the net from the bottom and without touching the trout he intends to live release I will now be my preferred method! Thanks for that! Tight lines !

Excellent presentation. Your advice iis so sound and you explain things very well. You don't tell people what to do-just show them ways of approachiing a stream. really love that. I use the combination method a lot here in Australia. I love tying and fishing wet flies. :-)

Great stuff Johan. I’ve watched the trailer many many times. Thanks for uploading the full film. I love the classic wets……. I fish them all the time here in Ireland. My go to patterns are the winter brown and the plover and hares ear. I tie them all myself.
    Kindest regards
    Dave

@@jensrasmussen928 He called it "Induced take" and it had a lift of the rod and was often fished upstreams while "Leisenring lift" was done by just tightening the line in the end of the drift.
Frank Sawyer describes Induced take in "Nymphs and the Trout"
Liesenring/Hidy describe a similar fly movement relative to the water in "Art of Tying the Wet Fly & Fishing the Flymph" by simply stopping the drift of the submerged fly by stopping the line and letting the current lift the fly to the surface.

@@FlyFishingFilms got both books, and that is why I failed to see the difference.Obviously Leisenring had to lift the tip in the end, hence the name 😀
Thanks for the answer. Tight lines. Enjoy your film very much.
