it actually makes me really sad to think that at one point in time: this was freddy fazbears pizzeria. no murdered children, no crying child, no haunted animatronics, no vengeful spirits; nothing. just fun birthday parties and cool animatronics. truly, fnaf is one of a kind.
But there was a teenager boy who bullied and tormented his brother, while his sister is getting killed by another animatronic.
I know it is a fictional timeline, story and it features fictional characters, but what did The Crying Child do to deserve what happened to him?

Im pretty sure almost every bad event in the lore was caused by the bite of 83 so we wouldnt of had the missing children incedent the william springlock micheal getting scooped and 2 pizzerias being burnt down but the bite of 87 would of still happened

That’s because it’s not the animatronics that are singing. The sound is just coming out of a speaker somewhere and the animatronics are moving their mouths in sync.
i would've adored these characters as a kid. i want to see more like this, like an AU where nothing bad happened. it might be a little boring but i think it would be fascinating and endearing look at an otherwise incredibly grim universe

It's so beautiful. Nothing scary, just peace. It shows what Fredbears was like before all the bad stuff happened. Made me have a whole new insight on the game and the lore.
This video is just wholesome. No creepy endings, glitches or jumpscares. It feels real. It's even covered up by a Birthday song that exists in real life. This is the true FNaF lost tape.
I love how realistic the movements are, and the effects too. Feels like a real VHS tape from the 80s.

Springtrap is spingbonnie, spingbonnie is the past springtrap. Fredbear is a complete different animatronic to Freddy, he tends to be referred to as “Fred”

I love how the camera pans down at the end as if someone is actually turning it off. Probably a detail no one cares about, but I personally find it cool.

Yeah, it kinda cancels out with a failed detail that got missed while making this: notice how the video lasts over a minute, but for the whole duration of it the camera says PM 19:43. I was waiting for it to change to 19:44, but it never did :(

This video is weirdly nostalgic. I could see younger me flocking to see these two preform. This videos atmosphere is calm warm and oddly familiar. When I was younger I would go to Chuck E. Cheese’s all the time, and while others where playing games and eating pizza I would watch the animatronics preform all day.

You know, we always see these things in such messed up contexts, so it's hard to imagine how anyone in this universe could ever want to take their children here. But watching this, I think I understand. In their proper place, the animatronics fit the atmosphere perfectly - it's warm and comfy, just the way a children's pizzeria is meant to be.
This looks like something I would love as a kid. It sounds so gentle and loving. I understand why they were popular before the murderers
It makes me really glad that there’s videos like this. One of the biggest issues the fnaf vhs community is facing is copycat scares, but for me personally this video is way creepier than any haunted vhs. Because on one hand it’s comforting, and knowing the context for what Fredbear’s would become, it SHOULDN’T be. This tape holds a feeling of impending doom with it and I love it, great work!

Well, by this point William's youngest son had already died in the '83 Bite, and possibly Elizabeth and the other children we see in Sister Location had already died.
Idk why but this still makes me disturbed probaly because the rooms are dark, the camera sometimes twitches and old folk music playing "not very clearly"

You know this is the first and probably only fnaf tape video I see that ACTUALLY ANYWHERE NEAR NORMAL! No missing murdered or crying children no haunted animatronics no ghost suffering or lusting for revenge and especially NO MURDEROUS PSYCHOPATHS. Just a happy place with robots to entertain its customers. This is the literally calm before the storm and before the dark times. Heck for all we know this could be Fredbear and spring Bonnie’s finale performance right before the bite of 1983
The camera date shows 1984, so this obviously took place well after Bite of 83. This was most likely the restauraunts finally months before closing and Freddy Fazbear's Pizza opening in 1985
I can imagine Henry watching this video crying and missing so much when William was his friend and together they brought joy to the children with their creations.
I wish we saw Fredbear like this in an official game (not a pixel cutscene or an easter egg jumpscare)

This is honestly the best song I’ve ever heard. They sound like they are super friendly, fredbears voice is perfect and springbonnies background voice is honestly the best sound I’ve ever heard. I’ve watched this countless times just for springbonnies singing. Truly a masterpiece. This duo solos every other duo on earth.
I remember watching this when I was younger, still holds up well! This video can definitely hold water against modern animations, especially those that try to do stuff like this.

I can see why the children trusted William Afton in the suit, because I'm not gonna lie, if I was a child I probably would too, and the reason why I understand is because if you put away the killing animatronics and working the night shifts... This place must've been really nice, it felt safe, comforting if you will.. For children and parents, and I'm glad this video proves it to show people how Fredbear's or Fazbear's or whatever it was how nice the expirience really could be, either as a child or parent.

If you follow the timeline in order, The Animatronics that would eventually be known as Knightmare Fredbear and Spring Trap ( Spring Bonnie ) were the first Animatronics and this is what they would have looked like... Plus the diner is called Fredbear's Family Diner not Freddy Fazbear's Family Diner...

Yea this is what fredbears was and what Freddy’s was supposed to be a magical place for kids and grownups alike where fantasy and fun come to life until cc died that’s where the madness started I’m not saying Michael ruined the company I know it was just a prank but William he didn’t take it well cc’s death was the first domino so to speak that started what I like to call the death of fantasy and fun William ruined the company everything he and Henry wanted this location this entire franchise to be this was the only happy birthday this franchise had William he lost it we literally tried to dismantle all remains of circus baby’s we wanted this company the entire fazbear franchise to be remembered as it was not a place where fantasy and fun go to die William was a nice man he wanted to be immortal but that goal resulted in the death of the entire afton family wanting to be immortal just brings sorrow including himself the pizza plex was built when it was to start over shut it down every single death associated with fazbear entertainment we knew kids wouldn’t remember what happened back then but then vanny showed up she ruined the pizza plex and then she did the unthinkable she brought back the one man no the one MONSTER who made this company like it was back in 85 I recreated molten freddy out of the pieces of every single possessed animatronic I knew what they were gonna do and I let them I even saved the other glam rocks and Gregory was the current afton that was alive he was a robot like Charlie was Gregory was a rebuilt version of cc he knew everything his father did and he ended William like Henry did in flames

This is honestly my favorite FNAF VHS tape, if you can even consider it that. I feel like the context in this video is that it's just a normal birthday night taking place at Fredbear's, if none of the horrors behind the franchise ever happened, considering this is a year after the bite.
Everything about this video makes me feel so warm, yet so mellow. The lighting and color doesn't try too hard, it's easy on the eyes, not too dim, not too saturated. The VHS effect isn't super intrusive with its static. The fan models of the animatronics, background and props add its own unique charm. The background noises just add enough life behind the camera, and Fredbear and Springbonnie's singing are absolutely ethereal, and the topic being about a child's birthday makes it a lot more solemn and calming paired with how they're singing it too.
It's so bizarre, yet so intriguing. To think of this franchise we're used to where the whole point is that there's something behind it, but this time, there isn't. There is nothing more, and to rest our own soul. That the story is just a story. No fear, no panic, no dread, no terror. Just fantasy and fun, brought to life.
I like this five nights at Freddy’s version because there is no missing children, no murders, no haunted animaronics, no killing and good stuff. Just having fun birthdays
It really puts the whole series into perspective. Fazbear animatronics were so ahead of their time that it was magical. Like this takes place in early 80s, this would be something really special that people would remember fondly. But the story that ties all of this together just makes everything so dreadful and sad. Fantastic work
If you think about it it’s still kind of nice. The spirits inside these animatronics still did what their hosts were created to do; entertain and bring joy to children. In fnaf 2 they even talk about the animatronics being hostile to adults but being joyful and playful with children

Hell, this shit is advanced even for now, these things can:
Walk (which I think not enough people realise how hard that is to make a machine do).
Have audio responses (walk over to children if they hear them).
Be used both as suits and animatronics using a complicated method of incredibly sharp springs.
And all of this is never used OUTSIDE OF FAZBEAR’S OR AFTON ROBOTICS, so all of this incredibly advanced technology was put to waste and never seen outside of Hurricane Utah.
