The growing variety of products and smaller machines have forced manufacturers to move away from traditional methods of profiling with dies in favour of this modern fibre laser technology.
Modern laser cutters enable very high cutting performance while maintaining the ability to cut single parts and small or large batches without having to invest in expensive equipment.
Unlike the older generation of CO2 lasers, fibre lasers consume much less energy, and thanks to the shorter wavelength, the laser beam can be focused to a smaller diameter, which allows for faster cutting speeds.
Today we will see what solutions Poland manufacturer - Kimla are producing with this fibre technology.

Cheaper than waterjet ?
Can some one help me selecting a proper laser machine for making holes of very small diameters in metal sheets.
How much small and what thickness?
@@arthurpip995 a) 1 mm diameter in 2.5 mm thickness. b) 45 micron diameter in 0 .2 mm thickness.
@@vinaymalwiya218 a) in stainless steel, you can cut this if an 1000w fiber laser, but if you want to cut a lot of holes in one piece, prefer to buy 3000w
@@vinaymalwiya218 b) it's difficult to cut so small hole with laser, the precision that you can achieve in laser its like 0,1mm
@@arthurpip995 thanks. The material is Stainless steel and lot of holes are required to be made at the triangular pitch of 2 mm. 1 mm hole, 2 mm triangular pitch, 2.5 mm thick Stainless steel.
is their any assisted gas used
good question, we didnt ask them ..
I operate the same machine at work. Use nitrogen for up to 6mm steel and oxygen for up to 20mm which is the heaviest we use

How can you tell the beam is not centered when they never even showed a part 🤣
