@@retroguy9494 that dryer looks pretty old. There is a button that if depressed will keep the dryer running, maybe that button is permanent pressed? LOL. That is a little dryer cycle humor. 🤣🤣🤣 seriously though I love how this family isn't quick to run out and buy the newest gadgets. From vehicles to appliances, they make their stuff last and use the product and everything it has to offer before they landfill it and buy new replacements . That is a quality to admire.
Yeah, but the dryer they have looks like it's a vintage model. One step up from a mangle. They could probably auction off that mangle and buy a new one with the money.
@@TexasbyStorm Well, up to a point, sure. But dryers are known to be a big cause of house fires. An old one must be more of a threat, especially where it's located down in the basement.
@@TexasbyStorm Yes, I got the joke. That was a good one! 😂🤣😜 As for the dryer, I have my parents old Maytag which dates back to, I believe, the 1980's. Its in remarkable shape. And when you open the door, the dryer goes off. Now I have to look and see if there is a button! LOL! And no, they aren't that quick to run out and buy new gadgets. Except for cell phones. And Mike's Mercedes. And Jill's Bug convertible. Besides, they have to save their money so they can take those vacations every month! 🤣😁😃
Hope Katie is feeling better. The dryer incident was hilarious. The area you live is beautiful on that river. I enjoy driving over that bridge on my trips off the Eastern Shore.

My husband and me, our two sons in college and my mother and disabled brother all live together with me in our 2600 sq ft home, it does have 5 bedrooms so is well laid out to give us all our own space. My college boys do their own laundry, my mom does hers and my disabled brothers and I do mine and my husbands. Our house can be crazy, because on top of us 6 adults, my oldest daughter and 2 grandkids are over often. The grandkids go to the school in our neighborhood, so we get them after school every day and keep them until my daughter is done with clients for the day. I have another daughter that is a teacher about 3 hours away. She has escaped all this craziness and for the life of me I cannot imagine why. 🤪🤣🤣🤣😉

I always check my pockets before washing my clothes, maybe Ryan should do that too. What made me happy today was well I repotted my lettuce, parsley, sown more parsley n pansies. I also pruned back my Mint and cut back my hollyhocks. Also I'm doing volunteering work tomorrow morning at 9am, can't wait
