Bishop moving in the way to absorb the sentinel beam for Gambit really shows how their relationship has mended from his earlier appearances.
Episode 1 and 2 were incredible
I just hate that storm finally unleashed and went omega level and then, boom, she got blasted and became human. But that desert glass tornado was what we needed for so long bc she is OP and was often wasted in battle

Just finished both episodes and they are beautiful. The way ororo lost her power really felt like a death in its own. Im excited to see where the seasons takes us.

That episode was incredible!!! I absolutely loved this season premiere kick-off! I wasn't born in the '90s but my father kept a bunch of VHS tapes with a lot of the old X-Men: The Animated Series episodes on them and I grew up rewatching those same episodes as a kid. The action was fantastic, and I'm really digging the new animation style for the show. I just binged the entire original series, and I gotta say that this is a significant step up in terms of animation quality, of course. All the characters are just as charismatic as they were in the previous series, if not even more so. Hearing some of the classic voices return for their roles in this Revival series is so heartwarming and nostalgic. I'm also really digging the new blood when it comes to the new additions to the voice cast. The new voices for Gambit, Scott Summers, and Jubilee specifically sound really great and worthy successors to the original voice actors. I'm really loving what they're setting up for the overarching story of the season. I can't wait to move on to the next batch of episodes as soon as they release. Everything feels like a significant step up to a lot of the great things from the original show and this is clear proof that the people who worked on the show are true X-Men fans in grew up watching the original animated series. Ultimately, though, this awesome premier batch of episodes really reminded me how much I missed the X-Men as a family. It's been awhile since I really delve into the world of the X-Men like this and honestly I'm glad the show came out to reunite the fire I have for the X-Men that's some of the old fox movies might have dampered a little bit. Marvel's/The MCU's first crack, the X-Men, was done masterfully, in my opinion, and I can't wait to see more! 10/10 Premiere for this show! 🎆✨️🙌

The first movie looked great and nailed the conflicts between normies and other mutants.
Hiwever, the way Rogue was portrayed was criminal. The magnificent Storm was very much a side character. Scott was a joke.
I had gone in regretting Gambit, my favorite character from the show, would not be the movie.
I left the theater disappointed in how most of the characters were written.
I can't believe storm power is gone
Storm is my baby man but in the movies magneto lost a chunk of his power at one point and slowly regained it over time maybe the same might happen for storm
Honestly, I think they're going to bring in her relationship with Forge! Remember he's the 1 whom created the weapon that took away her powers. Plus in the last season of the xmen, he was there. Also Rogue is developing a relationship and I think they're doing it with Storm too!

I’m loving cyclops a lot more in X-Men 97. Was never a huge fan of him but he seems so solid in this! And Storm looked SO BADASS in the first episode and the 2nd! The way she came in from the sky and obliterated the sentinels. The way she flies in the air the visual effects of storm are just phenomenal
The edm club scene was lit as hell, Jubilees powers on the dance floor were so vibrant and sick 😂✨the visual effects in this are incredible. Everything is so vibrant and fresh!
Magneto was just incredible. So menacing yet so auspicious and sincere. His magenta, purple and black suit looks so dope😭. His dialogue is fantastic and his speech was real. To see the change in him and the last speech was so sick.
With the direction marvels been going I was t sure how good this show would be but I’m lost for words how nostalgic it is to see them and the iconic theme song. First two episodes are sick asf

Just watched both episodes. What brilliant writing. Damn, pls this kind of emotion back in the MCU. We need a live action X- men ASAP. they're the face of Marvel, a pillar of the entire Edifice.
I want X-men live action back when they are ready to bring it back. If we have learned anything, rushing things into production leads to disappointment.
@@Kolnerbigblue hi would u like to listen to my approach as to how the multiverse saga shls hv unfolded? I think marvel shld establish 4 major pillars- Avengers, FF, X men and spiderman and then all the other characters kinda revolve around these. i personally believe that when we speak of the MCU now we specifically mean Earth - 1999999. I think that universe is a bit too crowded now. Let the FF be introduced to that universe and take leading role. And then at the same time make audiences invested into 2 other parallel universes in a serious manner. Now here is the catch, one would be spiderman and all the characters that are a part of his entire lore, and the other wld be X- men and all the other characters that are an important part of their lore. No avengers in these universes. U might have some overlap of the minor characters which might be common nd might share variants across these 3 universes. And these 3 universes down the line will in some way collide with each other(metaphorically or even literally). or lets say will become aware of each others existence and will realise that their collective fates are intertwined with each other.
now I just have one question, can Sony use Miles Morales as a character and his version of spiderman as of now currently? Since u mentioned above that if they have currently liscenced the rights of Spiderman to marvel so they themselves cannot use it. Hope u find this comment interesting wld love to hear your feedback.
I only want an X-Man movie if they remember it is the X-MEN and not Wolverine, Xavier, Mangeto and Mystique.
Speaking of Mystique, the way they rewrote her character when Jennifer Lawrence played her was appalling. They took away her ambiguity, which fits her powers and made her a heroine.
I also felt having Rogue fulfill Jubilee’s role in the cartoon was a misstep. I missed our sassy strong yet troubled Southern Belle.
The movies reduced the magnificent Storm, one of the team leaders, to a cipher. They neutered the other one, poor Cyclops.
Fun fact Chris Potter who voiced gambit the original series is now voicing cable

Yo if people hate these episodes it really shows pure stupidity. People love to hate and criticize even if the episode odds are against them simply cause of bad taste or they just want to troll lol. This release was absolutely amazing and so well done. I’m happy they chose this route and it really gave me hope for the future of the mcu and marvel in general

I had low expectations but i was blown away! And the action is awesome, Storm loosing her powers is a dark turn that some shows have been lacking this is a great start!
Cyclops was a beast in the first episode’s opening! Love the use of his powers in this way!
Pretty sure Morph can' only duplicate physical abilities and not mutant powers, like Cyclops Optic Blast or Gambits Powers
But he's based on Mimic from the comics who could duplicate powers
I am telling you the only thing I am pissed off with is what happens to STORM by the end of episode 2! All I know is that it better be resolved within this first season and quickly or else there will be a revolt!! Everything else is fresh exciting and a return to what we loved about the series! I followed this series religiously on Saturdays as a kid, so I’m one of the diehards.

First, I loved it. However,
1) I am confused about the ending of the animated series and the new series. Was Jean Grey showing pregnancy at the end of the original series? I don’t remember that. If not and if X-men 97 takes place right after TOS, how fast is this pregnancy progressing?
2) If the new series takes place right after TOS, where did Bishop come from?
3) If Marvel does not have the rights to use the name Eddie Brock, how do they have permission to use the name “Daily Bugle”?
4) As you corrected, Morph turns into Archangel, not Angel. That is great foreshadowing for Mr. Sinister.
5) If this was a movie in the theater, “Give them the forecast” would have brought the audience to a cheer.
6) If anybody thought that Marvel was dead, NOT!!!!!

Great video my guy... Haven't watched it yet but will soon...The Xmen are my favorite Marvel Team...... ALL the mutant teams...😏.... Im an 80's baby so seeing one of my favorite series revived is right up my alley..✌🇹🇹
As soon as the theme song started playing I fell in love all over again.
I loved it! As an original series fan, I thought this new series did an awesome job in making it a little more adult and cohesive in story telling. It’s grown up as much as the old school fans. I also love the animation upgrade that respects the original. Great action sequences too. And so much character drama!
I’m so happy they seem to be doing the series right.

Seeing Cyclops land safety from the sky immediately made think how awesome it would be to see it in live action.
lol I’m in love again with Marvel they brought me back to my teenage days watching X-men 97!! 😊 also they have me with the very attractive visual effects it feels like a new toy out the box! Also the whole plot staring out made my day. Second episode was fantastic as well. I hope they keep listening to fans and not those corporate executives!
Finally finished re-watching the original series before starting this one. Episode 1 was everything I hoped it would be. Excellent continuity, better scripting, vastly improved editing and graphics. I LOVED IT!!! If all episodes are on this level, or better, this will be an instant-favourite show!!! Bravo. Well done!

Awesome Video Warren!!! As someone who didn't grow up with The Animated Series, But is a Big Fan Of The X-Men, These Two Episodes Were Fantastic!!! It made Me really Happy to see a really Great Cyclops in these Episodes because while I Love The X-Men Movies, Cyclops never got to do that much in them, So It's Nice to see Him Be The Leader that He is! And it was So Sad to see Storm lose her Powers! I hope we do see her again at somepoint because She is Such A Great Character! But Magneto was The Star of These Episodes In My Opinion. To see a Version of Him where He's This Antihero who's Leading The X-Men is So Fascinating! He's such a Great Character! And I Loved the use of "To Me, My X-Men" from both Scott and Magneto. And The Animation was Phenomenal and The Intro with The Iconic Theme Song! These Two Episodes were just Amazing!!! 10/10!!! I'm very Excited to see what Happens Next!!! Woof Woof!

Just watched both episodes I grew up on this show watched it religiously as a kid and they finally made a sequel I enjoy granted it wasn’t as good as the og but I’m giving it a a- it’s a great continuation just 20 years to late a lot of the actors from the og died but yea I can’t wait to see the rest and hopefully a second season
I honestly felt like it was easier to follow than the original… and I was born in 1988 so yes I remember the original very well and watched every episode. The art threw me off a little but I like how they are still using arch’s from the comics like Madelyne Pryor and storm losing her powers.
So far the best part is the banter with Cyclops and Wolverine. Second is the writing for Morph.

I’m guessing the reason why Eddie Brock was not credited for the article is because in the Spider-Man series he gets sucked into a portal in the Stave doctor I know her name but first name is Ashley. So if X-men Serious the same Eddy Brock is lost.

The first two episodes of X-Men 97 were a banger!!! And the opening intro with Bishop, Magneto, and Morph in it was both UNCANNY AND ASTONISHING!!!!! What's more nostalgic is the family picture of Scott, Hank, and Jean, with Bobby and Warren, whom we'll see rejoin the X-Men later in Season 2. I was also happy to see Roberto Decosta AKA Sunspot, who in the comics, forms the New Mutants with Wolvesbane, Cannonball, Mirage, and Illyanna Rasputin AKA Magik.
I knew from the beginning at the end of episode 2, that "Jean" is Madelyne Pryor. Plus, Storm is going through a hard time after losing her powers.
Another thing I saw was a romantic tension between Magneto and Rogue, and Gambit was heartbroken with Jealousy.

The story I heard is that they have finished writing season 2 and are starting work on season 3!!!! Even better. I just hope they take their time to write it and do the animation correctly because this was great.

Guys, this is the TAS universe from the 90s. Their plane is still called Blackbird, not X-Jet.
Peter Parker has to be a mutant....which explains how he survived the radiated spider bite....a normal human would've died from that bite.....OMG! the MUSIC when Storm goes OMEGA-LEVEL! goosebumps and chills!
