Far Cry 4 Out of Bounds exploration #1- Bus intro sequence + Massive unused DLC area??

- this video will about exploring the intro sequence to far cry 4 and finding lot of hidden goodies :). There is also a massive unused area for what ever reason, possibly a scrapped portion of the main map which is quite unfortunate.
Had to have been an area made early in development but scrapped due to time or engine constraints... Developers likely wanted to have intro area accessible but found it too costly running on ps4 or normal pc to keep in since the area is incredibly expansive and lay out unlike other areas in the game. That or just not enough development time and had to cut off like I suspect happened for having open world Himalayan area too. No way it was made simply for the intro - road layout, vegetation detail, nice ground and wall mapping, precise texturing and bell towers interiors made out (even if copy pasted) shows care was put into area but abandoned or quickly deleted. The area at 13:31 is exceptionally designed and clear thought was put into the look of the vegetation and mountains, etc. It is beautiful and shows a level of care and thought put into the look that even many places in the main game don't have, likely speaking to early development vigilance before developer burnout and then starting to rush out stuff as it feels in many areas of the North. Also unusually high amounts of trees in this area which look great but again, likely very taxing on the conventional hardware of the time.
Maybe developers had option to work area into main game but would have to heavily cut aspects of it to fit system requirements leading to decision to cut it off entirely?
A shame we never got to access the area, looked beautiful and captured a Himalayan feel other area of Kyrat's south and north don't quite do. More Indian looking with big flat plains. Hopefully a remaster comes one day and can include these cut areas.

@@Littleburgaboi Would you be able to do another exploration vid into the inaccessible temple near Longinus camp near De Pluers fortress? There is a small Himalayan area with a temple and then a small valley going out to what I suspect was going to be an entrance point into a scrapped open world Himalayan area. Just want to see if anything inside the temple though going through the valley would also be appreciated. Thanks

Hi there. You should consider exploring the area in Willis mission "Death from Above" just after wing suiting off the cliff , you should be able to see a hang bridge where yuma's soldiers try to shoot from.

Yep more stuff gets cut from farcry then any other game
On TCRF, A Farcry 4 Article does not even exist. I gotta admit though, I have the Xbox 360 version of Farcry 4 and videos like this make me want to buy the pc version to explore these Cut Areas and to be able to use Console commands.

It was probably going to be an area for one exclusively for a mission or considering how detailed this was, it was probably an area that was created at the beginning of development but was scrapped or perhaps it was going to be the original area where you were taught to kill enemies and go stealthily and the final objective of that section was to go to the bell tower

May Ubi add this on DLC, or with a remastered with alternate story about if you join to Pagan.
It's so sad, because the game feels uncomplete. These cutten areas are the true end of Kyrat, not the Royal Palace.
I highly doubt Ubisoft would do that, they don’t tend to make dlcs for their older games as it’s just simply finished

Alot of people requested a royal army dlc back when the game came out, and unfortunately, that didn't happen. What I really would of liked is a prequel to the FC4 story where pagan comes to help the golden path conquer kyrat then betray them by becoming king.
The only chances of something like this happening at this point are if ubisoft decides to remaster far cry 4 in the future which the chances of that don't seem likely
@@bend7726 An alternate story would be great: Ajay with the Royal Army. A kind of "What if", what whould happened if you stay with Pagan at the start of the game and explore those cutten areas. But it's a lot to ask of Ubisoft.
i wish we could rode the helicopters and other aircrafts too in the far cry series, i get that buzzer is cool but copters and planes way more effectives to reach a higher ground destination
In the older developer build for x360 there is a distant lod of city in this area!

Im pretty sure the towers were the old design but they scraped it lol
this is obviusly a cut area i dont think ubisoft would do all that just to be show in a single cutscene but at the same time it breaks the lore because the border was meant to be on the south but is on the north so it gives me a doubt about the true about this place
Yeah 100% I used to look at it like it was meant to be apart of the E3 build or something, and maybe because of time constraints they decided to cut that whole area off, similar to what they did in the final build with Ratu Ghadi’s outpost area
i have a theory why this place was removed if you go too high in the map editor or with mods the sky box will glich out soo probaly this area was soo high the skybox would glich out if you look up on the sky and since they would not waste their time increasing the sky box or just they not knowed how to do it they removed this area@@Littleburgaboi

My idea the area look like the was completeled so haven't bug in the area. A possibility ubisoft thinked the area is big and enough maybe that reason the cutted.
