Suggestions-
Playdough- add toothpicks
Kinetic sand- add cookie cutters, small containers (can be used like a sand castle mold), small cars and trucks
yes kinetic sand needs some tools, cutters.
Small cookie cutters or molds are fun to add to playdoh or sand. Also, small paper punches with colored paper are also a great fine motor activity.
Molds would be fun! I do not have any, that is something I will look into! Thanks!
For the kinetic sand we found small “shot” cups at dollar tree that are perfect and the mini cars from dollar tree as well.
Oh I have tons of mini cars!! Thanks!!
Thank you for this video, it was very informative. I love the idea of stem bins!
Thank you so much for watching!
If you put some wide clear book tape over the labels it will help keep them from getting ripped off the box lids. It would work on the inside or outside of the lid. For the playdoh bin, you could put some different sizes of plastic caps to use for noses or ears, as well as any small plastic items like skinny straws, coffee stirrers, etc.
Thanks for the idea!
Maybe it’s different in America but I know here in England, anything with the children’s names or class names on shouldn’t be used as scrap paper because the children might take it home and then it could be a gdpr breach.
I use the sterilite pencil boxes for task boxes. I used velcro dots to attach the labels so I can change them out throughout the year. There is a square in the middle if the box that I put the velcro dot on.
Oh wow! That’s genius! This will be my backup plan second 9 weeks when they all fall off! 🤣
Suggestion for your tub with the letter beads add a card with a list of sight words or the spelling list. It helps them practice their words for the week.
Thank you for the suggestion!
Kinetic sand scavenger hunt. Plastic dinosaurs, Lego people, etc.
Thank you for the ideas! I’ll see what I can find!
Hello...where did you get the dry erase cards with instructions that you have in one of your boxes? Thanks and have a great school year
Honestly I have no idea!! I have had them for so long! I’m so sorry!
I like the unifix cube STEM activity you found. Would you be able to share the link?
I’ll try to find it!
Does kinetic sand not get all over like regular sand?
Not at all! It’s been fantastic as a tub option!
