Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I also face the same issue like when I start the game, the whole screen turns black and nothing appears on the screen. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it worked perfectly fine. That might sort out your issue. Otherwise, make check if your console drivers are up to date. If not, update the same and it might solve your problem.
