As a Railroad Brakeman pounding the uneven ballast 8-12 hours a day 100 degrees or 30 below walking through chemicals, feed God knows what else on off moving rail cars all day you name the boot (seriously) I have them, had them or still do and nothing has touched your Hillyard boot with the 610 last I believe. I know they are the lower priced tier, but I gave them a try and there's not a boot on this earth, Nicks, Redwing Danner that feel like I'm in slippers 90%of the day. The quality is unreal I've had them re-soled twice in almost 2 years due to the 12k plus steps daily in the rail yard but it's a small price to pay for comfort and protection costumer for life

They arrived exactly as I ordered them and they were stunningly beautiful! Even better, they felt tremendous on my feet right-out-of-the box! So what if they take 1,2, or 3 months to arrive, that ONLY means that they are being made with exact instruction & care as the buyer ordered. Be patient, because when you get your White's Boots in the mail, You are going to be tremendously pleased and crazy proud that you now own perhaps the greatest American Made Boot! Stop thinking about it, Go Out and Buy Yourself a pair of White's Boots, You will NOT be disappointed!

Sent in a pair of custom Hunter's for new tread and a tune up, got activated for deployment was unable to make payment while away, you sold the boots off, was put off so I sold my smoke jumpers. I miss both pairs to this day..

Just want to put out a white’s boots warning out there for November 2022. I ordered a pair of boots during their Black Friday sale. They charged me. I got an email telling me the boots I ordered were discontinued even though they are advertised on their site. More significantly they said it will take 14 days to get my money back. I’m sure they’re lovely boots. BUT I’ll never know cause I’ll never buy one of their products with that kind of customer service.
What does it means when you say thorough hand bottoming of a boot ？
