I figured he was waving to his Mom ;-) He was very casual about it.
The dude can’t drive the car is tuned to auto blip the throttle when he pulls the hand break and it continues until he lifts or shifts but the hole time he’s doing donuts and drifting his foot is to the floor and not moving why the throttle is controlled by a computer. No skill

Delta Cressida its probably a 3.6 out of the e46 stroked to 3.8 with evil cams and alpha n intake (thats a fancy german intake without air flow sensor). At least thats what was run on almost any track built e46 as squeezing more power out of a small na motor is quite the challenge and options are limited, still they managed almost 500 horsepower.

That performance is the result of combined the following parts : super slick racing tires, ceramic drilled disc brakes, racing suspension kit with camber and caster degrees set up accordingly and limited rebound, racing gearbox with closed gears and an engine with nothing less than high torgue map. In simple English that BMW must cost around 500K as it is. Of course it's "grippy"!!!!

This is an incredibly built car, but wasn't hugely expensive. It has been through many iterations. The custom suspension is by far the most noteworthy part. It sticks like glue. Looks like it has a pretty substantial cage as well.

He did it his way without deviation. He trusts engineering and the people associated . Then it's up to him. What a great job he does . Makes everybody proud because in that game there is nothing else but truth and trust. That's all that's needed in life after all. Great man.

@@georgesmbyd6603 sounds like a s54 and it has m3 fenders m3 front m3 rear. only thing about this that does not look like an m3 is the single muffle twin pipe exhaust. m3 had a twin muffle with twin pipes. but that does not mean its not an m3 becaus well you can easaly just fit a single muffle on it. so yeah i think its an m3
It is a M3 CSL.
@@rampage3337 the quad exhausts where replaced with a dual aftermarket one, but from the positioning of the exhaust it clearly started life with quad exhausts. In the normal 330ci, the exhaust is more to the left, in this car one side of the quad exhaust is populated, the other is a gaping hole.

Of course not my friend. He is using limited rebound suspension kit that allows the car to put its weight down to the tires but not allowing the car bounce up very fast making it way more stable and predictable on tight corners.
To put right suspension is question of knowledge and professionalism. Here, we can see a classic example of this old truth.

Rally Driving is a popular sport in Lebanon. We got some of the most vicious rally drivers (mostly self funded, personal build cars and most have normal day jobs) and intricate stages in the world! I had a 2001 330 CI (my 3rd BMW, stock of course, it had a stick shift too , this video makes me miss that car so much, this shows me what it could have done so Thank You . I have a 2012 335i now but no mods YET but I’m getting so inspired
It would be impossible to match the same speed and time even with M3 CSL, this one is super lightweight, sequential manual transmission, race suspension and slick tires, you can see how light and gripy it is.

Fun fact, this specific car had last minute changes made before this hill climb run. Moreover, the original driver had to leave the country because his wife was sick while pregnant with his 3rd child. These events are the reason why the last minute changes to the car had to be made. The changes included reinforcing the seat harness, reinforcing the seat mounting to the car and adding weight to the rear right side of the vehicle. Additionally the seating needed to have a large compartment made for the massive balls of steel that this (replacement) driver posses, it is also the reason for all the previously mentioned modifications.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and just say that this is actually an M3 and not the 330i.
For one, sounds like the s54 and seems like the power curve of the s54. For two, it’s easy to install the CSL front end and the M3 fenders in any e46 chassis, not as easy or even worth the costs on a pure track car to rework the rear fenders to accomplish the same width, fender flare and stance of the M3.
If indeed it’s a 330i, with an s54 and all the M3 exterior mods including the rear fenders, why not just use an e46 M3 front the start?
Nevertheless, fantastic video with an insane amount of driving talent behind that wheel. I watched it 6 times before I felt satisfied to move on 😄👍

2002 e46 330ci just hit 125,000 miles, took care of all the gaskets, installed a new cooling system,(CSF radiator, bimmerworld rubber hoses, AFE cold air intake) now need to do suspension, change control arms and bushings, need new brakes pads, disks and calipers.. and then I’ll be all set to start turbo-ing my car!:)
