    What's importance of Canterbury to the church of Uganda, we can stand on our own and distance ourselves from evil.

    Right brother, by leaving the church of England, you are not leaving the Anglican church, rather the Church of England is leaving the Anglican church! As, "come out from among them, and be ye separate,,,," 2 Corinthians 6:17,

    It’s amazing to see the English proselytized Africa and now Africa is proselytizing England.

    The C of E makes it clear that they have closed the door to sound doctrine but Anglicanism can and will survive without Canterbury.

    Some of the English Anglican church leadership sit on the fence on several core biblical issues, including unfortunately the Archbishop.
    A case of 'unity' and following Western culture over biblical truth.
    Unless they reembrace historic Christian biblical teachings they are doomed to decline.

    The truth is that Africans don't know the religions we believe, most of followed all these religions sheepishly. If we where one , we would form an African church for Africa.

    Anglican, therefore English therefore Henry VIII. Ugandan Anglican is oxymoronic. Henry exelcuted. his wives at will so I guess the archbishop is cool with the execution/persecution of the "leppers" or perceived misfits (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer + any self identification acronyms) among his flock who don't follow a 2000 year old text that is probably outdated and is badly in need of revision King Henry! What intolerance! Just because you skin a cat the way they did 2023 years ago doesnt mean everyone else has to skin a cat your way. Humanity has evolved in 2K years. If you can't accept that, you may end up preaching to your altar in the not too distant future or if politics is your end game, jump in right now beforethat train leaves the station.

      Show in the Bible where it says homosexual lifestyle is accepted, if someone claiming to be a follower of Islam did the same thing would that mean Islam is false based on that?

    • @WHU63
      @WHU63 Před rokem +4

      The Bible condemns homosexual relations in both testaments. If men err from the Bible then they can't be considered Christian. Islam certainly isn't the true religion. It tells us that Bible prophets like Adam, Moses, Abraham and Jesus were Muslims. Yet it totally ignores what these men said and did and offers its own solution. Christianity is about sin and a saviour. Islam is about behaviour modification. It even denies that Christ was crucified and therefore rejects his atoning death and resurrection. You're being mislead my friend. Accept Christ and be saved.
