  • In this video, I share my thoughts on the Gens Ace Redline 4s 130C 6000mAh battery and how I think it stacks up to a battery which is almost twice as expensive. Racing footage is from the A-Main event at Thornhill Racing Circuit in Hutto, Texas.
Check out more details about the Gens Ace Redline 4s 130C 6000mAh battery here: www.genstattu....
Running was completed with the Kyosho MP9e EVO 8th scale buggy.

That is an awesome battery. I really need to upgrade to batteries with bullet plugs. The hidden balance connectors are a big plus as well as the compact size. I have been reluctant to go with this type of battery mainly because they are a bit pricy. I think they would be a big improvement in performance and convenience. 👍👍

The last 12-13 months i use on my DBXL-E G2 g.ace 2x4s 7200 mah 70c for terrain with zero-small jumps,or the last 6-7 months 2x4s g.ace r.line 6000mah 130C for medium to high jumps since the weight difference is ~180gr each!! GREAT VID AND THE DIFFERENCE IS DAY AND NIGHT! NICE DAY! !

wish you would of weighed it with the battery connecter on both cause you will need to add in connector weight on the redline ... i am sure its not much more maybe couple grams but just saying ... lol also how is it still holding up.....thank you.. great driving by the way just clean and nice

With the GensAce Redline, I used just the bullet plugs directly to the battery, which actually saved a few grams of weight because it allowed removal of the male and female Deans plugs required for the MaxAmps battery.

Still running strong in my Mp9e EVO and loving it. Although I do storage charge my batteries after every track day, which helps prolong the life.
