    Fighting this guy is crazy because he hits like a guy 3 weightclasses above and is fast and very technical. Almost impossible to beat for other fighters at his weight. Only Donaire was able to give him a challenge.

    • @Ricc-eu4xm
      @Ricc-eu4xm Před 8 měsíci +12

      Donaire managed to damage Naoya's orbital bone in the first fight which led to Naoya having double vision for the rest of the fight so that probably contributed too. If it weren't for that, Naoya might have won a lot more decisively even in the first fight.

    He punches like old school karate. All driving from his hips and legs. Hes strong cuz hes throwing his full weight with his punches. Even his jabs. Its why his power will always carry with his weight. Now the question is how much hell be able to take from naturally heavier fighters. Those bigger guys will be used to heavier hands. He wont be. You guys are crazy... Tanks at what 135? Naoya, started at 108, and has moved through 5 weight divisions and is currently at 122. That's a long way from 135lb. Naoya is staying 122 this year, and will likely become undisputed at 122 in just 2 fights this year. NO one even knows how soon he will be moving to 126, then 130 and then final 135. It's foolish to call for that fight now, when it's 5 years away at best assuming he continues to move up and doesn't retire before he gets there.
    Maybe Tank can meet him at 130lb 3-4 years down the road... Maybe. But there is a lot of boxing between now and then.
