Their best album and one of the best albums in all of metal due to it's originality and the soulful flavor that represent the history and the culture they derive from. Absolute primal and heavy as hell.

So I recently listened to this with a Brazilian friend of mine, and he was translating the lyrics the whole time and said “they’re just shouting random profanity” and it makes the song so much cooler in my opinion.

I know sepultura for more than 20 years. And I never was a fan. But tonight something clicked. What a freakin genius band. Incredible.

    Época de ouro do Sepultura.

  • @marcelorigotti8311

Dois álbuns de 1996 merecem todo o destaque nessa questão de percussões e batidas tribais.

Siccest shit! They spent time with indigenous natives in the brazilian rain forest and wrote and recorded this album. This authentic as fuck for them. Respect.

I remember the first time I saw Sepultura live, I didn't even know their music at the time, it was at Thrashfest in the Netherlands in either 2010 or 2011. I was so blown away by their power and rythm, I fell instantly in love. Nothing had blown me away like that ever. Seen them many times since, I once took a pic with Andreas after the show in Alkmaar, still proud of it x) Only show ever that left me deaf: when I got outside I couldn't hear anything o_< But hearing this very well in my headphones right now. So much respect for this band and I'll always love them!!
