The 20 year untouchable empire of Pioneer as come to an end! Denon DJ is taking over on a good way.
Paired my SC6000M with a FLX-10 it's a dynamite combo. Pioneer will always be the standard. inMusic has so many brands and products they don't care about Pioneer's niche market share. Products like this are two fold:
1) They serve to maintain patent control over the technology.
2) They flex on Pioneer for not thinking of it first.

I just bought the sc5000m set up and it is awesome!! I was a DJ back in the late 90's and had 1200s Like every DJ and watched the evolution of the DJ equipment through the years and just jumped back in with these...wow these things feel so good (still getting used to the size) but the solid feel of the unit, combined with the portability, make the perfect match up. With the new software update, Denon was able to fix the glitches and make improvements to the operating system.. The nice thing is after a few daysof fine tuning the release the way I like it, it is exactly on beat with no 'speed up' that you get with CDJs .. You release the 'vinyl' and it is exactly on beat.. perfect. No laptop and no crates required! I give them 5 stars.. I'm extremely happy with this purchase..
Im leaving this comment for Historical reasons, well future Djs the killing of Pioneer started here well in fact Pioneer hasn’t even responded to the SC5000, SC5000M or Prime 4 😅🔥🔥Denon Dj
Pioneer won't be responding to the prime 4 until the next CDJ flagship is released. the XDJ XZ tech is well and truly last gen, i think partly so that they can cost cut by recycling parts from earlier players, but also because if they matched denon and released a true 4 deck standalone with on board analysis, their flagship players would be totally obsolete. my guess is that the next CDJ will have on board track analysis, and a year or two later we'll see that trickle down into the XDJ line.

Got to say, these big touch displays are great for doing ongoing routines like this. Very easy to get exactly to the next insert point, no cue buttons needed. Love it.
So stoked for these new players - also this is a impressive routine, JFB!

This was so dope and finally someone who actually keeps up with the beat and tempo, it sounded sick even the cutting back n forward was so on point. Totally enjoyed this mini mix. @@JXVI fucking truth man. Pioneer had been lazy the past 8 years with their products. Denon and reloop and been my favorite tech for a couple years now cause they cater to djs and listen to what today's djs need.

This will open up the second hand market even more for those good SC5000's aswell ! Great introduction into changing your rider, I'm in :) The only pioneers I'll keep are the CDJ800mkII, to play some ol' cd's for nostalgic reasons.

Everyone was saying the original SC5000 was gonna be a competitor for Pioneers pro equipment, but it doesn't look like Pioneer had anything to keep their throne. Now Denon only improved on everything while Pioneer still haven't responded. That's how to take over the market I guess.
