Daniel Brongers I've seen at least a hundred films in the movie theater including garbage movies such as Transformer Age of Extinction, Taken 2 and 3, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and I've seen LITERALLY EVERY Marvel/DC movie that has come out in the past decade in Theaters, and out of ALL those films, I only fell asleep during one of them...Green Lantern. That movie was awful. If you liked it, I'm sorry to tell you this, but you have a BAD taste in movies.
Colton G That you didn't like Green Lantern, doesn't mean't I have to hate it. That is why it is called ENTERTAINMENT. True, it wasn't as good as it should be, but I kinda enjoyed it. I also liked Transformers: Age of Extinction and I like that one too (along with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). It is better than the previous films at least. Never liked Taken (and its sequels) though. On the Marvel front; the only movie I didn't like so far was Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, the rest was - in my eyes - pretty solid...

Wow. Ryan Reynolds does share a similarity with Deadpool.
a) Wade Wilson's physical attributes are nearly identical to Ryan Reynolds; both sharing the same age, height, weight, hair, and eye color. Deadpool himself has compared his looks to the actor in the comics.
b) Both are Canadian, both share a similar sense of humor and both have alliterative 3 part names; Wade Winston Wilson and Ryan Rodney Reynolds.
c) Ryan Reynolds started acting the year Deadpool was introduced into Marvel Comics.
d) Reynolds has said that he has always loved the Deadpool comics, felt a kinship to Wade, and wanted to play the anti-hero in the movies someday since 2003 to now.
This would be his very last superhero role and will play no one else but Deadpool.

Pintheshadows I'm a gay guy and I agree, she is absolutely lovely and holds up cartoonishly well. She looks the same as she did in Firefly. She is the ralph macchio of actresses, except starting out at a model like baseline.

to clarify, Ryan has already done 3 superhero flicks, not one:
- Blade Trinity
- X-Men Origins: Wolverine
- Green Lantern.
But I don't blame him he wanted to forget either of them :P

If Fox is smart they'll have Ryan Reynolds narrate the Deadpool trailer with his "In a world..." voice. Then have it cut to Deadpool in the recording booth or something.
It sounds like that was the most fun set of any movie ever.
I love how proud the whole cast is when the crowd starts cheering. You know they feel like rockstars (especially Ryan Reynolds) and they've earned it!!! Deadpool is now the highest grossing R-Rated and X-Men movie of all time. And to think, at one point Fox didn't want to greenlight it. At this point, I'd rather have more Deadpool related stuff (at least timeline-wise) than where they're taking the X-Men franchise (I'm tired of the period piece crap, which I hoped would be over with Apocalypse).
This was the most awesome, crass and epic panel to ever be hosted at comic con. Worthy of Deadpool.

Chris has gotten better looking as he got older too (I remember seeing him on that old mtv dating cattle call show with Jenny McCarthy), but he has a nerdier look/build whereas Ryan looks like the personification of the jocky leaning cool kid with dozens of women stuck to his legs as he strides across the land.

I loved that Ryan Reynolds has gone back to his comedic roots. He was funny Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place. Now he has finally found himself and become Deadpool, no other man can play him as good.
2016 is going to be such an awesome year for comics with Deadpool, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad.
To bad Civil War, I mean Captain America: Civil War is made by Marvel Studios/Disney...
There's nothing wrong with marvel (Disney). They have made some of the highest grossing films of all time and their movies are fucking amazing. I love everything about their movies. Even Thor, which I was skeptical about, was amazing! The celebrity star power alone makes each movie amazing to start! The only one i didn't care for that much was Incredible Hulk, but that was actually made by universal studios not marvel, so all of the marvel entertainment made movies are amazing. And Incredible Hulk was still better than Spider-Man 3. And ghost rider 2. And fantastic 4 #1 and #2.

They've done Avengers 1 &2, Ant-Man(watched it yesterday, it was great), Cap 2, Iron man 1, Thor 1, Guardians of the Galaxy, Netflix's Daredevil, Agents of Shidl S2 (MUCH MUCH BIGGER IMRPOVEMENT OVER S1), and Agent Carter. I think they've done a great job, much better than Fox, Sony, and WB have done. Man of Steel was mild succes with mixed reviews, Sony mishandled Spider-Man, and Fox had to soft reboot because they fucked up their own continuities with back to back shit movies X3 and XMO: Wolverine.
Gabe N Completely agreeing with you. If it wasn't for Marvel, I strongly believe, that comic book adaptations wouldn't be as successful as they are now! I always know that when I go and watch a Marvel movie, I will come out feeling amazing. Marvel movies make you laugh and cry and make you feel like a superhero yourself. They kick ass in a very well directed and entertaining way. With DC or Fox or even Sony it is either really dark or they mishandle the franchise (as you already said).
No, I am just saying that probably not be at it's full potential. And I loved every X-Men movie, aside from those other two. And the first TASM was good.
