There is one often overseen track that is probably more intense and significant in sound and dark heavyness, and where the lyrics are more urgent than ever..... that is........in my view..............'In The Wilderness'!!
Yes to this.
world to come for me
Yeah that songs overlooked in this album love the outro and the breakdown in that song
Breakdown in that song is sick
Their Red Rocks performance of Pray - it is arguably one of the best live performances that there is
It's a great perfomance but that's a bit of a stretch
I concur... one of. It tops most of em.
Yep, lost count how many times i've watched that and Blow Me Away Niverse from Hellfest, epic as fuck!
*Inward Movement live at Balelec appear*
When the main riff drops, it has always reminded me of old Godzilla movies. The high pitch, and discordance, and sheer power. It’s just a thought, but I think it’s something they aim for.. especially given their name as a band, and subject matter.
Joes pitch-screams are very interesting and incredibly difficult for even long time vocal coaches to achieve.
It's like singing, while screaming. It's incredible. "The Link Alive" live album is mind blowing hearing how versatile and skilled he is. Some people mistake it for an effect but he does it live too.
The live version of "Where Dragons Dwell" has Mario doing double bass for 5 minutes no stopping. It's insane.
Lmao @ the “I lost my phone, I was wearing basketball shorts, who does that” comment. I lost my phone during a Meshuggah set because I was wearing basketball shorts. WHO DOES THAT! 😂
Brutal yet so gentle and subtle in a way. Truly immersive blend
Imagine a pod of whales in an oceanic most pit? Someone's gonna get the everlasting krill knocked outta them!
Immensely significant to the actual cover theme.... calm and gargantuan sea animal
The art of dying - Gojira reaction please!!!!
Song fucking rules. Cheers
Creative and clever
finally guys. At last,,
I would love to see you react to Esoteric Surgery. It’s probably my favorite Gojira song. That or Ouroboros. Either of those would be awesome
Opeth's singer is just as good if not better versatility wise. His growls are deep but his pronounciation is excellant and he doesn't only growl one note like a lot of death metal singers do.
do the entire discography
You want machine gun double bass watch Where Dragons Dwell live at Hellfest. Mario is something else.
Guys should check out some Opeth
Sounds like you are just missing a Gojira Deep Cut track, I recommend "The Art of Dying" for this one.
If ever a song captured the sound of major tonnage, (whether whale or freight), it's this one. Great intro and thundering drums. And while you're mentioning famous whales, can't forget Moby Dick...the 19th century version of the shark (Bruce) in "Jaws".
Tasteful screaming.
Do yourselves a favor everyone and make sure you never miss out on seing Gojira live. Not my fave band, still the best night of my life
Cara!!! A reação de vocês são as melhores!!! Muito bacana!!!!
I think you're gonna be surprised by this song "Al Stewart On the Border ".
Sorry Ty it was Jonah and the Whale. I say that with love, cuz i know that's what you meant. Starting out way more mellow than the other songs... Now it's taking a turn... Like the music better at the turn. Not sure about the voice. Sorry, growls are not my thing. (I do love the lead from Disturbed.) His voice just hits different. But always love the drums they do. Nick has his stank face on - he loves it. That break down @ 14:05 is cool. Dang that drummer... Want to see him live. Would be cool if this was just instrumental. Mario has to be in great shape to play like that! I can see how you lost your phone if you were getting moved around. You were so lucky!
Love that dbook jersey. Love gojira. Sorry I am a year lol
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
yall need to listen to the ENTIRE album Crack The Skye by Mastodon. It'll change ya life.
More Gojira plz.
Gotta do "to Sirius" video
you should react to some live versions ;)
please reaction to Dimash " story of one sky "
Hey, Could you plz react to Mornin’, The Theme from Moonlighting and Just to be Loved by Al Jarreau? This guy is AMAZING
Yes. He had some HUGE hits in the 80s... When radio was still so diverse...
I love your Journey reactions, with Steve Perry, you guys are great, could you please get back to doing more thanks...
