Every member of Zep is 100%. Although I would like to point out that Jimmy Page was involved in practically every aspect of Zep's songwriting, recording, live sound, and production on every level. Look at his history pre Zep, he was honing his skills live and as a studio musician for years and just waiting to unleash the beast that became Zep. Look at the production credits on all the albums as well as everything that has been released post Zep. It's basically all Pagey. Genius at work. Cheers from the canadian Queen nut.

In My Time of Dying” is a song that already had a long history by the time Led Zeppelin recorded their version, which was included on their 1975 double-LP Physical Graffiti. It was Josh White’s “Jesus Gonna Make Up My Dying Bed”, recorded in 1933 and catalogued on Document Records, that Jimmy Page cited as the inspiration for “In My Time of Dying”.

"In My Time of Dying" (also called "Jesus Make Up My Dying Bed" or a variation thereof) is a gospel music song by Blind Willie Johnson. The title line, closing each stanza of the song, refers to a deathbed and was inspired by a passage in the Bible from Psalms 41:3 "The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing, thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness". Numerous artists have recorded variations, including Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin.

My #1 favorite group x over 50 years. Case closed. You had to crank the albums sound up in our rooms and hear our parents tell us to turn me that down over the music. Lol yep. This was before headphone excellence. I listened through speakers. So happy watching the younger generations finally understanding. Music nowva days is crap mostly

Let's give credit where it belongs. This song was originally done in 1927 by 'Blind' Willie Johnson. Nothing more than deep southern American delta blues. It's amazing, and Zep did an amazing cover.

Page is GOAT due to creativity, diversity, quiet and loud, number of famous riffs etc.

Oh Pat & George, you picked a favorite, they got the idea from Blind Willie Johnson's, "Jesus make up my dying bed" from 🇺🇸1927.😊💙💙 Listen to Willie's original. This track is a Masterpiece!

This version is better than the live version at Earls Court. Here, the drums are so much better, and Jimmy’s guitar riffs and solos here are top notch.
