Engine Bay is Too Hot - what to do

When the engine bay is too hot, it means excess friction is being produced. This leads to wasted energy that could have originally been used for moving the car. The test for the excess heat is when you open the hood/ bonnet of your car and feel a wall of heat from the engine bay. The car's components can be touched when the engine has been turned OFF. Usually worn bearing etc will produce scalding hotness, so be careful. You can use a heat detecting gun for safety.
