Thanks, for your video and a happy new year. I appreciate all the fused weapons we can have, also because I have played CO for 1 year now and progress is kind of quick. If I imagine that I played, spent money and everything for the last 5 years, working hard to get all my perfect fusions, then I also can imagine that the old players are the ones who stopped playing and don't spend any more money until changes are reversed at one point
It does feel brutal - also having one fused and one non fused Heather now have my shots land at entirely different times, same with my Gravastars firing and overheating at different times >.< Eh it's just rough.
I agree with what you said about the workbench faction. Lots of people neglect to think about fast moving parts, and i think it's awesome you mentioned them. Your insight on the cancerous drones completely changed the way I do raids and levi cw! The tier cabin is probably my favorite, and I can't wait to combine it with peircers.
Clearly the best part of the year was the inclusion of the helicopter blades! It improved the game in a way we haven't seen in years. It proves crossout devs haven't checked out, they are still trying to make this a great game
This is an old upgrade taken away for a long time then brought back. When it first came back, it was just as bad as before. I wrote them instantly, bitching about how bad it was, and then a couple of days later.. they gave a survey about the flight dynamics and then fixed it. It still isn't quite right, but better than a bug crashing into a light outside.

I feel like the worst part is the fact that you can’t do anything with fused parts other than refuse them and the fact that there are so many good parts that are uncraftable. Like how am I supposed to have fun when I can’t properly grind for what I want.
Well, they also offer ‘unfuse’ events as another option, and I don’t like them using pack parts in crafting recipes either…..however every single pack part is 100% grindable in game, even as F2P

Its becoming an old game and they arent doing themselves any favours by making too many things exclusive. Ive played since pretty much the beginning so time for a break and possibly a change. ive been playing since 2017. it feels dead cus off the 4v4 (if not less) matchmaking currently, slow content release and endless greed. you have been about 90% correct in all your videos but this was 100%. then people ask me why do i still play? i watched it grow, now im just waiting for it to die, i want to be there on the last day... meanwhile, because im so mad at targem/gaijin, me and a few other crossout players: we said we could do better! project dunelander is in development. if a development version is available, you will hear from me again :D

I know it's not very similar, but hearing the guy talk at 1:30 - I kept expecting him to interject ""Hi, I'm Troy McLure, you may know me from....." lol; though I -may- am showing my age a bit with ref. I've said many times before, if I worked for Gaijin, they'd be making bank. Selling Relic weapons for £/$ 4-500. If there were say 10,000 players, what maybe 10 players would buy it, so £/$4-5000 they'd make. If they sold them for a tenth of the price, maybe a thousand players would get it, so they'd make £/$4-50,000; ten times the profit. if they sold them for £10, most 10,000 players would buy them = £100,000, 20x the profits. They're too greedy to get rich!
Yeah it really got going in season 3. Season 5-13 is when it was at its prime. I watched regularly up to IDK about S.18; lost some of it's brilliance; life and Uni etc etc, haven't really watched it since. S.34 or something now. I'd heard S.20-30 really dropped in the pan, but that it's picked up in the more recent seasons!?! But despite and regardless of all that we still have: ""My Eyes!! The goggles do nothing!"" >XD TBH, I moved over to an almost equally as long running animated. South Park; that just lives in it's golden age for the most part!
Firestarter won by a landslide on PlayStation 5 (I chose Steppenwolf) I use the revolver cabin to reload at the beginning, and when I'm dipping in cover, I never waste my last shot because it has a damage bonus as well if I just came out of cover (with a fresh reload). At least that's my understanding. ALL the shots in the revolver have a boost with a cabin reload, might as well shoot them all, then reload again as you can to get a boost later. You don't have to refuse your weapons, they are just as effective as they always were, they just took all the useless fusions, and made them useful. Some of my items actually got better. I am worried about the player count, I hope cross play helps bring us all together and keep the game alive. I don't understand why everyone is crying so much about a damn generator. Get it the same damn way you get literally EVERYTHING else in this video game, by grinding like hell, and paying money, it's no different
It's true that the first salvo of the game (since everyone is going to reload immediately) is going to be at +20% damage, but it's as I said - it's not free. So let's have some fun with numbers, let's assume we start a match by instantly reloading giving us our +20% damage to every shot. Over 3 shots we will deal 20% MORE damage than base 3 shots. (we're going to use simplified numbers) 120+120+120 = 360 UNLESS: You reload after 2 shots to trigger the perk again 120+120 = 240 120+120+120 = 360 600 total In THIS case you're sacrificing 33% of 360 (120) in order to get 20% more damage on your next shots... Worse case scenario, heaven forbid you fire 2 normal shots then attempt a reload for the 20% damage for 3 more shots: 100+100 = 200 120+120+120 = 360 560 total BASE with no cabin perk firing all the shots, reloading and firing again: 100+100+100 = 300 100+100+100 = 300 600 total The perk is just bad.

It's obviously not the greatest cabin in the world, but you are getting a guaranteed damage bonus, without having to be close or get shot ECT to activate it, which is nice for long range fighting where you can use cover to reload them. You will have to shoot some non boosted rounds from time to time, but what cabin other than the Catalina gives you a permanent damage boost that's always activated? All cabins force you to take shots without boosts from time to time. Otherwise just use a reload cabin
trying to explain what happened on the 18th of december basically the massive jump of players in january is because of the chinese players influx since the chinese version of game got shut down at the start of the year and the 2k drop of player on the 18th of december coincides with a massive 40k ban wave of chinese player on war thunder its not unlikely some of those players also played crossout on the same account
The Chinese version of crossout was shutdown in January 11 2023... I'm not seeing the correlation really... As for the 10k ban wave on WarThunder, that did happen in December, but approximately 12 days ago, on the 21st of December, but the user drop in crossout happens on the 18th of December and when I check concurrency on Steam for Warthunder you don't even see a dent in the concurrency... not sure if that's related either.
Thanks for the video. You have a great perspective, as always. First of all, I find it pretty sus that they put all the work into helicopters and locked all but one propeller in the battle pass. Secondly, could the drop-off delay just be lag from reality setting in for people? Thirdly I was disappointed with the Star Fall numbers too, and I doubt it ever gets buffed unless they stick in a pack. They've already sold all that they're going to sell. It kinda feels like the game is going off of a cliff and they're trying to grab as much cash as possible, on the way out. I've played for almost 4 years but just out of habit the last few weeks. Grinding patches because I already paid for the pass. Did you mention the large ammo crates? Nerfed the weight and immediately had a fusion for reduced mass. It shows how much they value their players. I never once heard someone complain that ammo crates were too light. It's just another way to milk a few more dollars out of people. I'm not done yet but I'm not hanging on by much RN.
Imagine grinding to get porcs for years just to watch them go under hovers. Plus everything this video shows ya... sad to see how a once a great game dies.
Flying is great but they should've given us a separate page of blueprint slots. I have 4 slots for air. Its crazy expensive expanding blueprint slots. Greedy greedy The light legs was \ is the best movement part and im too poor for any. I love the cooling cabin. Im a solo player, being in a clan is ok. I don't do CW or confrontation. As long as I don't get kicked im happy. New ball wheels are equal or worse than omni. CamoWraith here... I quit the game in October, I was burnt out of the game. CW wasn't worth my time anymore, so I quit grinding. The release of the Relic generator will ensure that I never play this game again.
Yeah, you can craft the Summator, Array/ST, Trigger, Verifier, Blockchain, Bigram, Omnibox, Annihilator, and Assembler if you purchased the battle pass that was associated with the Founders.

apollo release: large hightech heavy generator for heavy builds with less energy not heavy enough, everyone is using it! thor release: scrapmetal lookin as light generator for light builds with less masslimit/tonnage too light with too much dura, everyone is using it! odin release: devs give up, heavy cabin generator in light generator tier [mass rebalance in 3 months that cripple half the cw exhibition builds]
They need to put uranium in all level of CW and bring the cross Platform in the same time and the popularity gonna explode. Its way too hard right now to get relic and CW is pure garbage as well + they need more player for the queue and not always fighting the same people. I dont give a F if my relics loose their value i want to have fun over money and fun gonna bring real money into the game because more people gonna play
I wrote the devs saying the same thing. I told them we should get all least 1 uranium from winning confrontation.. maybe up to 5 for being at the top of the leaderboard.
I think the revolver cabin is dog poop and I regret buying the Naguals. A 3x Nagual is pretty good, but Medians are maybe a better choice for the power scores I play (6-12k). Cannons and long range fighting are just meh
I think there was a lot of great shit released into crossout. I absolutely love the game, sure it has flaws, but I still play it everyday. My biggest issue with crossout, is the damage multiplier for heat. That's it. If they lowered the damage multiplier for heat, it would fix destructors, Athenas, Auroras, and fire dogs all in one go, and make the game more fun. If they cut it in half it would still be strong, just not busted strong. You notice it's the heat weapons that are the most OP. Other than that, I feel shotgun bricks are a little too strong. I personally hate the playstyle. Whenever I get a shotgun challenge, I make a build in 2 minutes with fuzed gremlins (I got only because they were in a pass), and I dominate people in the PS it falls in. They need to add an energy, reduce range, reduce damage, something, because they are stupid strong compared to how easy it is to build a play them. Cyclone is too effective as well. All you need is cyclones to be effective from 5k to 15k, run 1,2, or 3 and you WILL be effective even if you're slightly skilled at all. I don't play them because everyone else does, and I beat them regularly, but I have to focus them in almost every single game, in every single PS I play, in some form or another. They put out too much DPS to be that accurate AND have that much durability. One of those stats (pick one) needs to be adjusted
Truthfully cyclones get beat all of the time. I use them. Fire dogs, melee tusk and grinder builds all tear me up. Don't let me talk about toadfish, Athenas, destructors, or Hammerfalls.. they all strip my cyclones with ease. So I just don't agree with them being OP. Also impulses on a Ommomre, I can't spell it.. They slap.

You think my stillwinds hold up better? What weapon would hold up better against the truly op broken destructors, Athenas? They need to reduce the damage multiplier for heat. That will fix destructors, Athena, fire dogs and make the game more fun. We also need other options to be competitive than cyclones.
@@dmusket240 I play with autocannons a lot actually. You can't spray stillwinds and land shots across the map, you gotta go semi auto. Therms and Joules are probably the closest to cyclones, and both of them have much bigger spread. I can't think of another weapon that puts out that kind of DPS, that accurate, across that many ranges, with that kind of durability on top. Cyclones aren't anywhere near the biggest balance issue in the game though, I guess I shouldn't have mentioned them. They are just the best of the weapons that are actually somewhat balanced, then you got the copy paste builds that just perform so far outside most weapons they make the game not fun to play. I guess they need to buff other weapons to be more competitive then if we can't call for actual nerfs. The Athena and destructors and fire dogs will be an issue unless they nerf the heat damage multiplier, which is what needs to happen
@@B-U-T-C-H-E-R specters are broke. I was up against four sinuses with my two spectres.. kept tearing me up. The spectre is just a double sinus, therefore it should be even. Spectre is over nerfed. As is a lot of purple items like the fat man, Miller now, thunderbolt ECT. Also we should have tierd play so weapons could be in a bracket and locked out from being OP. But then too hard for devs to keep you buying.
Don't rely to much on Steam data, most people are playing XO without. I did once too, but what's the point of waiting 10 seconds for Steam to start everyday? Nevertheless I also quit this game a few days ago. Here are the reasons I put into the form that you get when uninstalling (copied and G-Translated): - bad balancing (Hammerfall/Shotguns, Destructor) -> - Matchmaking: why does it feel like the game is doing everything it can to keep the win-lose rate at 50:50? Then for 10 rounds you only get incompetent players or SUICIDE BOTS - you know what I'm talking about... and if not suicide bots, then wall walkers that do absolutely NOTHING... REMOVE ANY BOTS FROM PVP! Every 4v4 is better! - Toxic community - Cross crowns - FOMO excess - Due to the fire rate perk, my Stillwinds now heat up at different rates - yes, that made me angry! - MG and Shotgun Daily Missions lead to overuse of these while being way too powerful (especially shotguns which can counter 90% of all weapons) - GARAGE IS TOO SMALL (even with 30 spaces) -> Creativity is punished! - Coercion into game modes (Brawls, Heli, Raids) and weapons (Shotgungs and MGs), which I actually absolutely don't want to play, through missions (Daily and Battlepass) So the balancing in December at least affected my Stillwinds ^^
I was excited to buy them because i kept dying to them. I played with them for a few days and sold them. They aren't my style. And this was before the nerf too. Kudos to people who have the patience to aling their shots and wait for the reload. That aint me.

Lmfao huggin is terrible?? Dude step off the ivory tower of claw wars and relics. Huggin is everywhere at medium and lower power scores. I got the fused huggin immediately.
Yes, the Huginn is terrible. As for my "Ivory tower" I have 2 scorpions... that's literally it for relics, and I don't use them because I am just the worst shot with them =P The Huginn's perk is literally a WORSE Shiver for 1 energy. Heavy cabins have an issue - they come in at 1 energy lower than Medium and Light cabins, so we, the players, are paying 1 energy for the cabin's perk effects. For 1 energy you are getting 35% cooling UP TO 105% assuming you OVERHEAT your guns AND YOU HAVE 3 OR MORE. This is VS the Shiver which gives (base) 85% cooling at all times, increased to 130% if you're stationary (or moving slow) or when fused 103% BASE up to 148% cooling when stationary. You can take literally any single medium or light cabin in the entire game and give it the Huginn's perk by simply spending the 1 extra energy on a Shiver. That's awful and needs to be buffed. I've said it before and I'll say it again, in order for the Huginn to be competitive it needs to cool at literally double its current rate, 70% per gun, max of 210%.
I'm not going to sit here and say that build wouldn't work - indeed it sounds like a kneecapper for sure! Alls I am saying is, those shivers are doing the heavy lifting over the perk. Also if you like that kind of build, you should give the Ermak a try, as it's the OG in heavy cabin Gremlin meta =D

Thirdly I was disappointed with the Star Fall numbers too, and I doubt it ever gets buffed unless they stick in a pack. They've already sold all that they're going to sell. It kinda feels like the game is going off of a cliff and they're trying to grab as much cash as possible, on the way out. I've played for almost 4 years but just out of habit the last few weeks. Grinding patches because I already paid for the pass. Did you mention the large ammo crates? Nerfed the weight and immediately had a fusion for reduced mass. It shows how much they value their players. I never once heard someone complain that ammo crates were too light. It's just another way to milk a few more dollars out of people. I'm not done yet but I'm not hanging on by much RN.

CamoWraith here... I quit the game in October, I was burnt out of the game. CW wasn't worth my time anymore, so I quit grinding. The release of the Relic generator will ensure that I never play this game again.

Yeah, you can craft the Summator, Array/ST, Trigger, Verifier, Blockchain, Bigram, Omnibox, Annihilator, and Assembler if you purchased the battle pass that was associated with the Founders.

They need to put uranium in all level of CW and bring the cross Platform in the same time and the popularity gonna explode. Its way too hard right now to get relic and CW is pure garbage as well + they need more player for the queue and not always fighting the same people. I think the revolver cabin is dog poop and I regret buying the Naguals. A 3x Nagual is pretty good, but Medians are maybe a better choice for the power scores I play (6-12k). Cannons and long range fighting are just meh
Yeah, the revolver cabin is very much butts. I think that the Nagual have promise, though, but their PS is a bit high for what they do.
I think there was a lot of great shit released into crossout. I absolutely love the game, sure it has flaws, but I still play it everyday.
My biggest issue with crossout, is the damage multiplier for heat. That's it. If they lowered the damage multiplier for heat, it would fix destructors, Athenas, Auroras, and fire dogs all in one go, and make the game more fun. If they cut it in half it would still be strong, just not busted strong. You notice it's the heat weapons that are the most OP. Other than that, I feel shotgun bricks are a little too strong. I personally hate the playstyle. Whenever I get a shotgun challenge, I make a build in 2 minutes with fuzed gremlins (I got only because they were in a pass), and I dominate people in the PS it falls in. They need to add an energy, reduce range, reduce damage, something, because they are stupid strong compared to how easy it is to build a play them.
Cyclone is too effective as well. All you need is cyclones to be effective from 5k to 15k, run 1,2, or 3 and you WILL be effective even if you're slightly skilled at all. I don't play them because everyone else does, and I beat them regularly, but I have to focus them in almost every single game, in every single PS I play, in some form or another. They put out too much DPS to be that accurate AND have that much durability. One of those stats (pick one) needs to be adjusted
Truthfully cyclones get beat all of the time. I use them. Fire dogs, melee tusk and grinder builds all tear me up. Don't let me talk about toadfish, Athenas, destructors, or Hammerfalls.. they all strip my cyclones with ease. So I just don't agree with them being OP. Also impulses on a Ommomre, I can't spell it.. They slap.

They need to reduce the damage multiplier for heat. That will fix destructors, Athena, fire dogs and make the game more fun. We also need other options to be competitive than cyclones.
Cyclones are NOT accurate. They REQUIRE tons of compensation to hit at any range other than close. Those playing with autocannons understand.
@@dmusket240 I play with autocannons a lot actually. You can't spray stillwinds and land shots across the map, you gotta go semi auto. Therms and Joules are probably the closest to cyclones, and both of them have much bigger spread. I can't think of another weapon that puts out that kind of DPS, that accurate, across that many ranges, with that kind of durability on top. Cyclones aren't anywhere near the biggest balance issue in the game though, I guess I shouldn't have mentioned them. They are just the best of the weapons that are actually somewhat balanced, then you got the copy paste builds that just perform so far outside most weapons they make the game not fun to play. I guess they need to buff other weapons to be more competitive then if we can't call for actual nerfs. The Athena and destructors and fire dogs will be an issue unless they nerf the heat damage multiplier, which is what needs to happen
@@B-U-T-C-H-E-R specters are broke. I was up against four sinuses with my two spectres.. kept tearing me up. The spectre is just a double sinus, therefore it should be even. Spectre is over nerfed. As is a lot of purple items like the fat man, Miller now, thunderbolt ECT. Also we should have tierd play so weapons could be in a bracket and locked out from being OP. But then too hard for devs to keep you buying.
Don't rely to much on Steam data, most people are playing XO without. I did once too, but what's the point of waiting 10 seconds for Steam to start everyday?
Nevertheless I also quit this game a few days ago. Here are the reasons I put into the form that you get when uninstalling (copied and G-Translated):
- bad balancing (Hammerfall/Shotguns, Destructor) ->
- Matchmaking: why does it feel like the game is doing everything it can to keep the win-lose rate at 50:50? Then for 10 rounds you only get incompetent players or SUICIDE BOTS - you know what I'm talking about... and if not suicide bots, then wall walkers that do absolutely NOTHING... REMOVE ANY BOTS FROM PVP! Every 4v4 is better!

- FOMO excess
- Due to the fire rate perk, my Stillwinds now heat up at different rates - yes, that made me angry!
- MG and Shotgun Daily Missions lead to overuse of these while being way too powerful (especially shotguns which can counter 90% of all weapons)
- GARAGE IS TOO SMALL (even with 30 spaces) -> Creativity is punished!
- Coercion into game modes (Brawls, Heli, Raids) and weapons (Shotgungs and MGs), which I actually absolutely don't want to play, through missions (Daily and Battlepass)
So the balancing in December at least affected my Stillwinds ^^
Athenas nerfed into the ground? Lol wut? Yes, they have been nerfed but are still way OP. Their range is a little ridiculous.
Yeah, they just don't feel good at all, though. Couple that with the inability to use the Claw wheels with walker legs and it gets worse and worse.
I was excited to buy them because i kept dying to them. I played with them for a few days and sold them. They aren't my style. And this was before the nerf too. Kudos to people who have the patience to aling their shots and wait for the reload. That aint me.

Yes, the Huginn is terrible. As for my "Ivory tower" I have 2 scorpions... that's literally it for relics, and I don't use them because I am just the worst shot with them =P
The Huginn's perk is literally a WORSE Shiver for 1 energy. Heavy cabins have an issue - they come in at 1 energy lower than Medium and Light cabins, so we, the players, are paying 1 energy for the cabin's perk effects.
For 1 energy you are getting 35% cooling UP TO 105% assuming you OVERHEAT your guns AND YOU HAVE 3 OR MORE. This is VS the Shiver which gives (base) 85% cooling at all times, increased to 130% if you're stationary (or moving slow) or when fused 103% BASE up to 148% cooling when stationary.
You can take literally any single medium or light cabin in the entire game and give it the Huginn's perk by simply spending the 1 extra energy on a Shiver. That's awful and needs to be buffed. I've said it before and I'll say it again, in order for the Huginn to be competitive it needs to cool at literally double its current rate, 70% per gun, max of 210%.
Run a huggins with 5 gremlins and 2 shivers and you never stop shooting. It is almost like fully automatic shotguns. Huggins with shotguns. Try it.
I'm not going to sit here and say that build wouldn't work - indeed it sounds like a kneecapper for sure!
Alls I am saying is, those shivers are doing the heavy lifting over the perk.
Also if you like that kind of build, you should give the Ermak a try, as it's the OG in heavy cabin Gremlin meta =D
Steam data player base is useless here since I've never use steam to enter crossout neither rus players.
I don't think it's 100% accurate, but I don't think it's useless. Even if you don't log in with steam, apparently some 3000 players that quit sure did - which you may end up noticing in queue times.
