    Let me know in the comments below what you think of the EGO battery powered commercial line?

      Thanks for the information! Did EGO say when the commercial ztr’s will be available in Canada? I can’t find any info anywhere on these badboys!

    I've been using Ego for over 7 years. The best deal you can get on batteries is with the product. You save about half the price than if you just buy the product. I just bought the 2nd gen 24-inch snow blower. It came with two 10ah batteries. I would have paid extra for 12ah or four 10ah (they did that with the first gen). I'd rather have extra batteries that I can rotate using than bite the bullet on buying a stand-alone battery.

      Yes I agree. But the kit version of a tool with batteries included is always a better value. Even if you have batteries and don’t need the extra batteries at the moment. Like you said it’s better to rotate through them. Thanks for watching.

      100% correct. If you are brave enough you can do what i did. When EGO was still selling out of Home Depot, HD was selling refurbished Gen 1 Single stage snowblowers. I bought mine like 7 years ago, came with two 5 amp hr batteries and a quick charger. I paid $420. What a great deal. The machine is still going strong, no probIem there and the batteries are great.I would also scan FB marketplace, sometimes you can get used stuff pretty cheap.

    Personally, I would prefer to see a walk behind mower build out for a 60", 52" and 48" cut width. My guys are not lazy and to think about how much power is lost carrying a 200 pound lazy man around around when the machine could be free to just cut and move forward. I hope EGO can make a walk behind mower

    I’m ngl, if Delaware would go to electric only, I wouldn’t b mad if the company I’m with went with ego commercial, the equipment actually looks good for one but from Wht I’ve seen the equipment actually works great. We have the residential stuff at home and they r good.

      I love battery stuff and switched fully last year except for the big mowers. Thanks for watching.

    With so many company's coming out with battery equipment, my question is, how do you decide which company to go with so your not buying all different equipment? Especially when you may need to buy extra batteries.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  Před 8 měsíci

      Yes that’s definitely something you have to take into consideration. Once you start buying one brand you’re almost locked into their platform because of the investment. That’s why it’s important to do your due diligence and watch channels like mine that are committed to thoroughly testing different options before you buy. Thanks for watching.

      I saw this being a problem for future endeavours, so to solve this, I spent significantly more on a portable charging system to charge on the go. The layout is similar to, or cheaper than buying lots of individual batteries and now you're not locked into one eco system 😉
      But, I do love Ego. Can't wait to get my hands on that aluminium deck Ego mower 😊
      Don't really like how Ego keep claiming it's the most powerful mower out, because I'm 90% sure the AS 531 EProCut B, powered by Ego, takes that title with a 3.2kw motor🤔
      Just an observation of mine 😉

      Maybe they are referring to the North American market because we don’t have that mower you mentioned which sounds amazing. I’m getting the ego commercial 22” as soon as it’s available I have needed a new push mower for awhile now and I’m glad I waited.

    Do they make a stand-on model like that zero turn?

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  Před 8 měsíci

      Not at the moment unfortunately. I would guess it’s probably in the future plans given the popularity of stand on models. Thanks for watching.

    I’ve got an ego battery that’s like 6 years old, would it work with these commercial tools ? I see they are using a newer looking battery

      They all work with everything some might be better with new or bigger batteries if it's something that needs alot of power like the commercial stuff.

    Nooooo way in hell would I buy an electric snow blower or mower. It’s a lot of batteries and the replacement batteries you WILL need in three years is insane.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess

      Technology is changing rapidly. I can’t speak for the EGO line because I have not had a chance to use it but I can say I’ve been using the Kress commercial line everyday in my lawn care business since last August and it’s amazing. I can mow up to 10 lawns on my route on a single 11 Ah battery with the high efficiency blade, and the battery warranty is 6 years or 3000 charge cycles, and they have an amazing 8 minute recharge time from 0-100 when using their cybertank system or 24 minutes when using the regular plug in the wall rapid charger. When I first started using them I use to take along all my gas stuff as backup plus extra batteries. Then after the first week I stopped taking the gas stuff and after a few months I stopped taking all the batteries and only take a single spare battery. It’s been so good I will be starting to sell all my gas equipment this year. Thanks for watching.
