Everyone should see this movie. As an Italian who worked in a shelter for asylum seekers for 4 years, this movie sent me in tears. I've tried my best to help people do what Manu and her friends did, I used my professional reputation as a psychologist to support asylum requests to the court, I prepared beds for people who arrived with fever and dehydration from the Africa-Italy "dunki" via Mediterranean sea, I took women to the hospital who were pregnant from what Manu narrowly escaped. One of the many times I took some newcomers to the immigration office for application, I took them eat afterwards and there was a TV there, showing the highlights of a football match. The guys were very interested, they said they had been following that championship, and as they eagerly watched the TV I thought that they had dreaded to be not alive anymore to see that final. That simple, even trivial moment made me fully realize how deeply unfair and nonsense these borders and inequalities are. We are all humankind, we should all have the same power, the same chances. We all belong to the world, we don't own parts of it.
Hats off to you. What an amazing job and interesting comment. You worked with the real stars of this movie. Tragic reality of our times.
@@teaforthetiredone5056 indeed I feel blessed for having had the opportunity to work that job. And that's also how I met people who got me in love with Bollywood movies! Nobody knows them here in Italy, but this is slowly changing thanks to more and more Indian movies being available on Netflix.

Couldn't watch this movie in theatres, and people said its a flop movie. But when I saw it on netflix, I loved it. I am proud of my taste in cinema. Loved the emotions, acting and plot. And the harsh reality of dunki.

Yup because nowadays people like action oriented films that's why pathaan and jawan collected 1000Crs .. still Dunki is a blockbuster because a comedy drama movie collected 470Cr+ in a clash which is more than solo release fighter .

I cried a lot when they found their friend working as a beggar on the street in UK and they thought he is successful student but their friend had been lying as a happy immigrant to them. As an immigrant, this hit me so much. All the immigrants regardless of being legal or illegal , we all are struggling in different ways as a new people

If this movie, has been treated as a 8 netflix episodes, i think the producer would have the chance to explore more dark zones, situations climax and other possibilities. Dunki is not that bad, but the producers choose to show many possibilities in just 3 hours.

The story of Dinky is very good. The director gave full attention to the comedy which was the first part of the film. After the second part came, the purpose for which Dunki was made was not achieved because Dinky ended in 20-30 minutes. Done and they reached. England
Now if the writer will write the dinky part two and someone else will give the direction then maybe this movie
will be a hit.
