Gents I love your show. These are the kinds of topics that are worth discussing. It'd be nice to do a voluntary gig with youse when I visit Ghana. Is there a thing like that? if there is let me know. I reckon rail would be the best bet only because you can move people around as well as agro produce and mineral resources. Watching from Melbourne 🇦🇺
Why aren't people using their local airports, or why there are no competitive domestic carriers in Ghana? The answer is that the Ghanaian economy sucks. You need a vibrant economy that creates jobs and business opportunities for people to spend and airlines to take risks. Who in their right sense would invest in Ghana under this macroeconomics framework when inflation is high and corruption is the norm.
Yes o! that's very likely becos most people don't travel within the continent. They travel mainly to 'whyt' abroad. All they know about other African countries is mainly through whyt media that focus on the 'ugly' side of African countries.
Ben, my understanding of flying international is not by the size of the aircraft but flying from various countries be it Ivory Coast, South Africa, Europe or the Americas. Flying a propeller aircraft from Sierra Leone and B373 from Ethiopia to Kumasi will both be international.
You’re one of the most objective and progressive radio journalist in Ghana. You’re less political and smart. Keep it up.

Do we have a railroad from Accra to the west?
Your best deal is a railroad from Aflao to Half Asini.
Great discussion

Ghana we brag like we have developed. We’re so way back. We’re not serious. We’re corrupt. And we celebrate mediocrity.

WE SHOULDN’T ALLOW FOREIGN AIRLINES TO RUN OUR DOMESTIC PLANES. GRANTED THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD ENCOURAGE DOMESTIC AIRLINES.
