The commentary back then was so much better than it is now days.
Great video. I was at the Man Utd game in 1983. I'm from Wolverhampton but been a Ram since I was a kid. I love this club.

Thank you for this History. I Was born in 1984 and lived on Harrington street just over from the baseball ground we moved not long after I was born. I am the only Person in my family out of 7 of us that follow football. I was the only one to be born on Harrington street. Is that the connection? we will never know. Thanks for the vid .
I was also born 1984 on Lea Croft round the corner from harrington st I’m a life long Derby fan and have witnessed many memorable moments at the BBG… up the rams. Do you still go to pride park ?

@@andy-incognito I was hoping to go on a nice fa cup run to help with the finances but promotion is definitely top of the list just got to keep this unbeaten run going and who knows, just imagine the limbs around PP

Derby in division 3 attract more supporters than some 1st division sides...fast forward ro 2024 and nothing has changed

Hi David I am Paul McCreas son David I found the video recently of my Dad one from rams are back as well. Do you have any more videos of Dad you could upload please then i can forward it onto the family? Gary Hudson mentioned to me by coincidence you used to work with my Dad.
Paul was a great journalist and always up for a challenge. There is a scene in the war film "Reach for the Sky" where Squadron Leader Douglas Bader annoys the Air Ministry by demanding "tools and spares" to make his squadron operational. "Get me those tools and spares" he says - Paul was that sort of person and whenever I see that film I think of him.
@@davidnelson9973 he was very witty as well. I remembered its without the H as Gary said your talking about Chris Whitty. Dad had very funny humour.
