Great info -- looking at the "homework" (2003, 2009, now), just taking a quick look it seems breadth 151 days into the 2003 and 2009 rallies was much stronger than now. Curious if you have specific breadth numbers for those dates and how they compare to this rally.
2009 was stronger because it was the initial bounce off the lows of the 2007/09 bear. 2003 is more inline with the current because it had the three waves down going into the FTD. I like using RSP and the sector SPDRs and similar instead of normal breadth measurements. And it was certainly more broad based back then.
Another hour packed with great instruction. I appreciate your walking us through analysis step by step. I’ll continue watching.

Thanks for the shoutout! SG was a lot more interesting last week, but the rejection off the 52 week high was a clear trim/sell. FSLR is interesting as a high tight flag, though I would want at least the 21ema to get to the 260 area before buying the breakout.
I like the show because you explain what is going on with the stock in detail. IBD LIVE has a faster pace and go trough thru stock much faster. You all do a great job. ALI And crew and Webby thanks for coming back you are a GGGGGGreat asset and very helpful. IBD member at least 15 Yrs.

Great job as usual. I drink up these technical analysis lessons so please keep them going. One critique, when you go full screen on a chart can you not toggle back and forth so often, it gets distracting. Leaving the chart up with the voiceover makes it easier to concentrate. Keep up the good work ! You’re both providing invaluable content.

6:15 Covers breadth or lack thereof in market looking at equal weighted RSP. This past week was particularly bad with SPY up 1.26% while RSP was down 0.74%. A 200 bps divergence. (note, largest 10 stocks in S&P 500 account for 36% of the index).

39:45 Precedents Analysis: discussion of "power trend" concept. A bit surprising the Nov 2023 follow through day is being compared to the follow through days from the 2003 and 2009 major bear market lows but the similarity in the rallies following each FTD is remarkable.

Thank you for the great instructions. I would like Mike to dig into energy (solar, oil, drills, exploration etc…) while it’s still under pressure. I’ve not heard anyone on any channel explain what happened to solar this year $RUN, $FSLR, $SEDG, $MAXN, $PLL, $SPWR, (not just #TAN) etc… It has to be more than just interest rates. a
And what happened to Oil related like maybe $BORR, or traditional $MPC, $XLE, $CVX, $COP, Everyone is focused on Nvidia, mag 4 and healthcare right now, but I’m interested in understanding what’s happening in this segment and prepare before the cup and handle not after. Please 🙏🏽 I expect energy to make large jumps once it does move up.

NVO please! Webby, Leaderboard added NVO early January, have trimmed, then brought back to full position June 4th. SwingTrader added NVO on May 20 and has added several times including on June 4. Can you help me clarify my thinking on NVO? How do I decide if this is a swing trade or a position trade? Thanks for another great Friday video!
