Rommel used the equipment given to the British by the yanks and beat the shit out of all the military commanders in North Africa it then came to the point where he could not sustain his offensive without equipment from Germany which was bombed by the yanks/Britain without Barborosa he would have won handily. But then hindsight is 20/20
Exactly how were these materials supposed to get to Africa? Rommel was a great general but even he couldn't do anything about the supply problems of the German military. Sustaining any kind of force is Africa was always unrealistic for the German army even if they did have the Allies on the run at points. They had no way of securing their position.

Originally the plan was to gain dominance to keep Rommels force supplied, this plan failed. By 1943 the Afrika Korps was supplied by air, explaining their supply issues.
There is no German in sight on this video. Couldn't it be Montgomery relaxing in Cairo? Anyway, if they were Germans, an eye opener for many young boys raised in the values of Kirche and Heimat.
