    Which style of waterproof training pants looks like the best option for your child? As always, you can find links to all the products I mentioned in the description box below the video!

    For all of you who like using cloth diapers and training pants, I salute you! As someone with some mild incontinence issues I’ve experimented with both cloth and disposable products. After something happening in a cloth diaper last week, and even after rinsing it out in the toilet, there was still a noticeable Oder. This happened on Wednesday or Thursday of last week, and today it just went out with the rest of my laundry, and the people there also do cloth diapers as well. Not to be anti-cloth, but for me I am going to stick with disposable from now on.

      I know this is old, but just commenting for anyone else who stumbles here like me.
      If your cloth products smell stinky, they’re NOT getting all the way clean. Getting the right wash routine down is probably the biggest learning curve to cloth diapers/products. Every washer has different settings, you need to know your water’s hardness, use the right detergent, and have your water heater set to a high enough temperature. You also typically need to do a pre-rinse, followed by a hot wash (I include a soak) and another extra rinse at the end. Cold rinse- hot wash- cold rinse- cold rinse.
      It can be frustrating to figure out at first, but once you get it, you’re golden and it’s SO easy from there. My cloth diaper laundry smells great, and I swear it’s the cleanest laundry I fold all week. :)

      @@invisiblespirit5476 I actually was able to talk a diaper service into obviously diapers for adults, and standard laundry. At first, they were not willing to try adult products, but after the incident where it was smelling between the time the thing happened until pickup it was pretty bad. I was thinking also of trying out something like Alva which has snaps and using several liners and snapping a couple of diapers on the sides, also with liners. As for laundry in my apartment building, it’s do at your own risk. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. There was one time where I had regular clothes laundry and after three or four cycles in the dryer, the clothes weren’t any dryer as they were when I first took them out of the wash. The other thing about the cloth diapers I was using, which are the Omotzu Overnight Cloth Diapers, they were way too bulky. It doesn’t matter rather it is cloth or disposable, when diapering myself, getting the diaper on straight to the point to where it will stay put between uses. When I have been hospitalized, I’ve always gotten help for this reason, and with the possibility of being hospitalized again shortly for surgery, I plan on doing the same thing.

    What would be the best one in your opinion for overnight training pants as far as leakage?

    • @ECpeesy
      @ECpeesy  Před 5 lety

      Hi! All of the training pants shown in this video are meant for daytime use. Super Undies makes a Nighttime version. I would take a look at those.

    What training pants would you recommend for out and about my son is 18 months old and day trained, he only wears diapers for naps and daytime, but when go out we need something absorbent in case we don’t make it to the potty.

    • @ECpeesy
      @ECpeesy  Před 3 lety

      For outings I would recommend ones where the waterproof layer covers the entire training pants. Like the Kanga Care Lil Learnerz. But they don't absorb a ton, so if there is an accident while out they should be changed into a clean pair. 💜 Heidi

      @@ECpeesy thank you so much for replying I will look into them, but maybe another option just in case my boy is heavy wetter, 2 days ago he told me that he needs the toilet but we didn’t make it on time, so all his clothes were soaked and it was so cold to change him outside. Thank you so much.

      @@golosita2696 The second brand I would look at is Super Undies. They make multiple different versions, some more absorbent than others. The Super Undies I showed in this video have a pocket where you can add extra absorbency. I also recommend bringing along a travel potty like the Potette Plus. That way you can offer the potty in the car before going out into the cold. I show two travel potties in this video: czcams.com/video/29FUXQvdwyI/video.html

    Do you put the plastic ones over top of them once you have?

    • @ECpeesy
      @ECpeesy  Před 2 lety

      These styles already have a plastic layer built in. If you wanted to, you could put an additional pull on plastic cover over top, for extra protection.

    My daughter is daytime potty trained but only 2.5 so she still needs something for overnight. What would you recommend for overnights?

    • @ECpeesy
      @ECpeesy  Před 2 lety +1

      Super Undies offers nighttime training pants. I only showed the daytime ones in this video, but they have lots of different options on their website.

    How can I get this product to kerala

    • @ECpeesy
      @ECpeesy  Před 4 lety

      It depends which brand you are interested in. Some ship worldwide while others only ship to one or two countries. Do you have Mothercare or another baby store nearby where you could look for training pants? 💜 Heidi

      What if they do #2 in them ? Will it matter ?

    Is it washable???? If it’s normal way possible to wash ???

    • @ECpeesy
      @ECpeesy  Před 2 lety

      Yes, these are all washable cloth training pants. I normally wash them the same way as cloth diapers: warm wash with a little bit of detergent, then hot wash with full detergent. If the training pants stayed clean and dry, then I just wash them along with normal clothing laundry.

    If u could upload a video with some proof that they are water proof ? Ive donw some purchase that have claimed to be water proof and my daughter ended up weting the floor 🤭😂😂

    • @ECpeesy
      @ECpeesy  Před 3 lety

      Sorry, we don't have these training pants anymore. If we did, I could pour water in them and see what happens... Most of them are only semi-waterproof. They may have a layer of PUL in the wet zone, but it often doesn't cover the whole trainer. Some of them will allow pants to get wet if worn over. Was it a big pee all at once? Maybe she flooded the training pants and they just couldn't absorb enough or quickly enough. 💜 Heidi
